Merc mode unfair?

As alliance that is not an option. I think it is completely stupid to give horde that option. If I am on a losing streak I can’t simply switch sides for a couple hours, why can Horde.

Is it just me or is this blatantly just giving one side an unfair advantage. If you choose to play horde, fine, you deal with the queue times, and when you start losing you deal with that too. I don’t want horde to be able to merc to avoid bad hours of the day for Horde queue. It is absolutely ludicrous.
