In TBC dungeon where he is locked up, he says " I’m gonna light you up sweetchecks " Clearly that has to go.
They’re mostly just dorky dad jokes and puns. ![]()
I see.
this is a really hard question to answer without violating the forum CoC, but essentially the constant fight for attention on the internet pushes things to be more and more extreme, and we now have genz and gen alpha who were mostly raised in that environment with unlimited access to adult material. the result is that culturally, genz is a lot more liberal and open about their sexuality and are into a lot more extreme acts.
i personally don’t think this is a bad thing, but the disneyification of everything assumes children are still being raised in 1950s households with zero knowledge of adult activities. we get forced into a preschool version of our game while the children this version is intended to woo are into far more extreme things.
Your interpretation of that dungeon gets a gold star.

Don’t even get me started on the final boss who sucks dozens of men into her black hole
WE DON’T MENTION THAT NAME HERE!!!
No matter how many time I kill her that endlessly nagging witch keeps coming back. And I think she’s been cheating on Millhouse with a goblin.
At any rate, that’s why we’re still allowed to murder Millhouse’s wife but not allowed to flirt.

I’m still pretty annoyed they took away my favorite flirt: “What’s estrogen? Can you eat it?”
It was perfect for the female orc, and hilarious. I have no idea who it could have possibly offended.
Can confirm
People flirting with my man Rexxar, I didn’t like that, flirts had to go.
Rexxar is my orc and future mate.
Or his prison soap joke, or slapping me on the buttocks in the garrison mission and calling me sweet cheeks… as a man by the way, so the Gnome just swings all directions apparently…
Given the prior dialogue, I don’t wanna know who or what all Millhouse has been cheating on her with… (including a male Mechagnome since they can do that quest too)
If you go back and listen to the flirts that were removed, you can literally hear worse, edgier things on family friendly cable TV. Most of them are the equivalent of bad dad jokes.
They were removed because someone at Blizzard got into a tizzy over nothing. Just put them back into the game Blizzard, it was a mistake to remove them.
/spit I can understand, there’s at least some logic behind removing that… but the flirts were harmless.
A lot of them directly implied unwanted sexual advances… in the context what was going on at Blizzard at the time, it’s in better taste to remove them. Not sure why anyone would be shocked or feel ‘punished’ by this…
I’m curious but not curious enough to watch Stephen Colbert.
I don’t ever recommend watching that.
Yeah, he was pretty good on the Colbert Report… then he gave up his shtick and his new show is just painful.
I will once again reiterate that it was activisions employees. Practically nobody from when those jokes were instated even remains on the development team.
Its like waging war against Iraq when Afghanistan bombed you.
Afrasabi wasn’t an Activision employee… they were all Blizzard folks and it happened AT Blizzard offices.
Yeah I think it’s a complete overreaction by Blizzard.
There’s no reason to punish the playerbase if there were devs that were doing shady stuffs.
