As Evoker yes, for obvious reasons, but as a non-evoker, almost never.
The thread was about evokers, not dracthyr as a whole.
So I am confused by your mentioning of non evokers then 
i think people know they can opt out of the dumb lizard look. it’s not a lack of knowledge which is holding evokers back.
i suppose it would’ve been too much to expect you to know what hypocrisy is.

why? it was announced multiple places and multiple times that dracthyr could be other classes and wouldn’t need to be in newt form as the default

I don’t think there should be perma-visage.
Once again asking for more visage forms, at least visage forms for the main races(not allied races)
We need perma-visage form and new options for visage race would be nice as well… that or just give other races evoker.
Oh, I agree. Adding options is always better. And they don’t take things away from the players that like things the way they are now.

Clearly, most players don’t like the Dracthyr’s dragon form. They really should add a muscular dragon form—even if it’s something like the bear druid’s unarmored appearance. It would definitely become a favorite among tank players.
Tbh its not really the form itself. Its the fact you can’t mog it at all that turns a lot of people off.
Again, they should do the gigantic undertaking of going through all old mog items in the game, and make them all compatable on the dracthyr body.
Obviously not all at once, but like, for example, they start with the classic items for a patch, then, BC, then wrath, then eventually we get to mog everything, they even already have a catalogue in game of every moggable item to save them having to make a checklist
