Meeting Stones: Should they summon/do we want them to summon?

I have become really good at autorunning and multi tasking on the way to the dungeon entrances. It’s honestly not that bad if you watch like you tube on another monitor.

You could list your mself for group in it and stuff… not sure how it worked exactly as i never used it. It was the lfg system.

No. Get running.

No, im playing a warlock, if meeting stones could summon thats one less thing the class brings to groups, but it would be nice if they gave out mage food / water when you clicked on them.

Find a Warlock.

Nerf warlocks you say? I don’t think so.

What was the large rebalancing from 1.11 to 1.12, rogues… You need 1.11 to get Naxx so there is no way they weren’t going to launch 1.11.

To be fair classic is not vanilla.

To be honest they’re giving us Vanilla as close as is possible in a modern world. They’re not making arbitrary changes for convenience, like this one.

Hell the only “change” that wasn’t driven by technology, business, and a changing population, is that the mounts are harder to obtain.

If you don’t understand stand the difference between content progression and version changes, or out right changes.

You are on your own.

Absolutely not

Oh I get it, but the what you see is what you get argument doesn’t really fit because what you see right now is already not planned to be the same. A better argument would be if it wasn’t in vanilla it shouldn’t be in classic.

Yes, you’re totally right, they should give us summoning stones in the same progression that they did in the original timeline.

i.e. When we get TBC.

To be fair we want at least 1.11 so we don’t want 1.1 vanilla.

Still fits.

The 6 phases are known. No hidden phase 7 or 3.5 that remains to be seen.

I’m with you on the warlocks’ utility.

But until several weeks from now when most have quit and the rest are much higher levels or doing endgame, people are not hard to kick from dungeons. There’s always people looking to join a group, usually at or near the entrance. And I’m on a “dead” server with no queues.

Works for me, I’m just waiting for TBC or Wrath servers anyways.

But the decisions made should be for the long haul and there’s no putting genies back into bottles. There’s no way to give players an ability and then take it away without massive backlash. So if we don’t want the summoning for the long term, we can’t have it for the short term. Look at retail and flying. They are trying to half remove it by means of using the pathfinder achievement and people are constantly flipping their ish.
