“She may have realized she has a friend now.”
/grin
Hopefully lol she is like that with people too. She is skittish but then after a little bit of time she is chill.
“I think she will be a good Mother Figure for the little one.”
You’re taking a lotta responsibility there hun - but I’m proud of you for it!! Taking in a lil bean like that can be life-changing. :3 And sometimes it can really help you grow and advance in all the other chapters of your life!!
Keep it up hun, you’ve got this. <3 Take it as a good omen!
Hopefully so. Sadly we are probably not going to be able to keep them but I’m going to try my best to convince the fiance in keeping them.
Thank you for that! For sure! I’m taking it as a blessing and I hope the little thing turns out ok. I’m learning a lot and so far it’s been a challenge but interesting.
Let my cat raid a house, poop in shoes, get in cat fights, shred curtains and toilet paper, knock stuff on the floor.
Cat raid would be fun!
Me and all my fuzzy grumpy babies
“Tell them you have to keep it for at least a month, to know if it is going to be okay. By then the Fiance will have fallen in love with Harley.”
/grin
That’s definitely the most difficult part of taking care of a kitten without a mother cat. I commend you for your hard work and dedicated care.
Adorable, little kitty! Cats rule, and good for you and your dad for being so compassionate for them, world needs more of that. I’m hoping she grows to be strong and healthy! If I had a pet, their collar would have a Horde pin on it.
“I refuse to put collars on my Cats.”
/smile
True we’ll see how it goes! XD
Thanks you two! <3 I hope they get big and strong too!
Mine gets mad if I take hers off LOL
Brb gotta feed the kitty
The only time I put collars on my cats is when I was moving to another state and going to the vet. Flea collars only if necessary, cats don’t like flea powder. Most of my cats were indoor.
“Only time I have ever collared a cat, was when I had twin black cats. Complete twins. Size, shape, manners, etc. I put a green collar on one, and a blue collar on the other one, so I could tell them apart.”
/lol
My cats are not team players. They never sleep together, and two of them have to be incarcerated at mealtime so they don’t steal each others’ food.
“I use the liquid flea stuff. The cats tend to deal with that much better, than collars OR powders.”
Back, fed Harley and they were extra hungry lol they are getting more of an apatite!
Have a 6yo black male that was abandoned in our fence with his eyes still shut, so he was bottle fed as well. He does seem wired a bit odd but he didn’t have another cat around to show him the ropes. Funniest thing, he still comes running whenever anyone opens fridge or microwave after hearing it so many times when i warmed milk. Best of luck to your little one, sounds like they are doing fine
Awe that is so cute!
Yeah they just had more formula not too long ago. They figured out what the bottle is for and are latching on with almost no issues now.
This is my cat when she was a baby.
She has no more than two braincells.
The other cat is Mellow, Destroyer of Kitchens.
He got into the void space of the cabinets and got stuck. The fire department was able to remove our dishwasher (had a new one being delivered shortly after) and broke the water line. They turned off the water to it. Or so they thought.
Our kitchen flooded. Cabinets were gone, walls were drenched, floor was soaked. Asbestos in the walls, had to quarantine our kitchen with ventilation and plastic like that scene out of ET. Found black mold on the other side of the walls.
It took 4 months and $40,000 us to get the rebuild done. Split between us, USAA, and our home warranty.
He is now called destroyer of kitchens, fluffy orange fatherless cat, and 40k.
Cats.
