Medium pop still has login queue

I also don’t see why Blizz decided not to cap each server during naming. At least it would have allowed time for Blizzard, guilds, and friends to improvise.

I think also allowing free stress test accounts instead of subs would have been a better test.

Keep the good work im happy with this launch and i dont care about Q im having a blast!

no we actually didn’t. you can’t sit there and tell me you knew wow classic would have 1 million twitch viewers and probably just as many or more players.

we thought we did, but i guess we did

Longburn dude , what are you not getting? Even the servers that opened yesterday are 6-10k in queue, your logic and blind fanboy is so beyond comprehension. Stop typing until you understand facts, your attempt at blaming player base makes you look silly. This has nothing to do about people refusing to move.

Does player level have any bearing on queue priority?

I did roll on a vacant server. Logged in no problems and leveled to 10. Also leveled my professions and completed my class level 10 quest. So it was low when I started but now it is super full with 7k+ in queue. Do you still think that is my fault?

They all got in and played. Not all of us did. Then they started launching more servers. The expectation is that they then stop and restart on another server. Some of those now have 5 hours queues as well. Quit being a tool.

My problem is this - we had name reservation so we could coordinate with friends on a server. Now more than half our group has yet to EVER be online. More servers does not fix this. We have 3 groups of 15 people playing, and adding servers is just causing argument after argument on staying for longevity or going for actual play. I can’t handle these arguments anymore, they are tearing our friend groups apart. Since we already have commit to a server, could you please CONSIDER AGAIN raising the population caps on individual servers instead of adding more?

Maybe blizzard can take some tips from Private servers.

You guys waited years for this, what’s another week or so?

That logic is as bad as their planning

Actually we did. Remember how we broke the log in servers during Name Reservations? There was a staggering number of people who showed interest in Classic. Blizzard acknowledged this by predicting Herod to be “massively overpopulated.” While we don’t have exact numbers on the players who logged in to make characters in that period, Blizzard certainly did and chose not to open more servers except right before launch.

Yeah and they had years to prepare for this, what’s your point

Point is, it’ll work itself out. You’ve got years to go.

200 feckin AFKers sitting in Crossroads Inn. Maybe give them the boot to make some room?

The logic some of you fan boys use is just astonishing. Part of the reason why the gaming industry has zero standards or expectations that need to be met.

And asking us to move over and over again when 1 to 2 servers pop up is not the correct response, either. Blizz needs to fix this ASAP

What’s the point in having dynamic realm pop statuses if there’s no objective measurement?

Anyone with half a brain knew there were going to be problems. If you expected it to go swimmingly, you haven’t been paying attention for the last fifteen years.

A player base who STILL refuse to move, unless blizzard gives them “free transfers” or “server restarts” to even “Relaunch” demands. The stupidity on display from so many here is just laughable, until you realize they’re serious…
