I too despise all these things. Some for obvious reasons. Some for not so obvious reasons.

Though, i’d like to add some things to that list.

The fact that there is only one way to murder hard immunities in the game, and no reliable ones.

The fact that fears in general still somehow affects half of the classes just because of how far the story of the game has progressed.

Fury War, DK, and DH self healing. Neither of them have healing specs, and yet they outheal some hybrids.

Having to choose between interrupting a fear/poly/insert cc here or a fat nuke like gpyro/chaos bolt. Even though it makes little sense that a martial arts master can’t throat punch someone whenever they want.

CC spam in general because poly, poly, poly, or double cyclone is “fun.”

Gpyro kind of being a necessity because hard targets exist.

Shimmer because it should totally be an arcane only talent, as they’re the ones that need it the most.

Not really a mechanic, but more of a lack of something. There is a lack of CQC maps. Most maps are wide and open with sparse cover. For once even if it’s in a brawl, i’d like to fight in a claustrophobic Grimrail or Boralus Hedge Maze type of map where LoS and camera angles will make you want to dig your eyes out.

Edit: Lightning Lasso because it’s just a massive middle finger to WW. A channelled ability with a 30 sec CD that stuns its target and is castable while moving and melts health bars. Sounds oddly similar to FoF stun except they traded the AoE portion for range, Lightning Lasso ignores armor (which WW could also do before), and FoF stun has been removed from the game twice.

sometimes when i’m standing in the inner edge of one of the rooms on brh healing someone outside, my camera will dip every time i step into the room to LoS something i lose my mind and want to die
same with the wall-room on hookpoint

I just remembered how Avatar made you immune to all slows and roots when it was first implemented and everyone hated it

then they gave it to fury warriors albeit not immunity to roots but a speed increase + snare immunity perma is better

To much passive healing, i dont mind hybird healing, but passive healing needs to go. Like if a ret pally or an enhancement shammy heals for a ton, then you just gotta tip your cap and play better, but passive healing where there really isnt any counter play has got to go.

Fury warrior godmode in 1v1 or 2v2 , what the heck is all that stuff ? what makes them heal for so much is it some bloodthirst trait or something.

off the top of my head:

subterfuge not punishing bad rogues/rewarding smart plays
berserker rage being reactive trinket instead of preemptive (like tremor)
bm talent giving passive immunity to 2 dr schools during bestial wrath (the beast within)
reflects lasting x duration instead of eating 1 spell like back when the game was actually fun

At this point in the progression of the careers of characters, being susceptible to some forms of CC like fear or horror seems a little silly. It’s a pretty funny scenario to think about. “Hey person who helped beat or personally soloed several C’thulu monsters, some big dragons, magic robots, spoopy demons, just a lot of talented people and large animals in general, and at least two embodiments of a planet to death or into submission with their barehands, there’s a roided out dude who yells really loudly. Are you scared? Also remember that time you beat the literal physical embodiment of fear? That was fun.”

I suppose the analogy is like jump scares (fears) vs a kick in the balls (other cc/stuns). Eventually jump scares don’t faze you, but a kick in the balls is always gonna hurt unless you’re an irl shaolin monk or something like that.

I pretty much hate everything about WWs.

Oh i know that feeling. Though, my discontent is because the vast majority of WW has been changed to be made weaker or have been neutral changes. There’s yet to be a change that has been implemented that i could say with a reasonable amount of certainty is an actual improvement to the spec and wasn’t just something that we used to have that got removed that wasn’t accompanied by some sort of really confounded change.

I’m really super happy that they haven’t taken role players feedback on board

Hunter 6 seconds root… or 8, i dont remember exactly. And my main is a warrior, not this hunter.

Its a combination of bloodthirst, fresh meat which increases bloodthirst healing, the honor talent battle trance which passively heals you and generates rage if you raging blow a target twice, and then maybe the azerite talent cold steel hot blood that puts a leeching dot on the target if bloodthirst crits. Lotta heals.

Pretty much this, actually the most awful part of this expansion. There was nothing wrong with MoP/WoD PvP gear. Not to mention PvEers think this is all 100% okay. In fact they want to gut the M+ reward system, aka our only reliable way to gear. So we’ll have nothing.

Ran up against a few warriors yesterday with Cut of Death sword. Was always their 2nd most damage sitting around 14-18% of their damage… So stupid how broken pve items are

I’m not saying that we should be immune to fear. Though, warriors disagree when they have their enrage up. However, it is funny to think about.

Is pretty funny that it takes such meta things to scare us. I was half expecting the scary things to be high repair bills or another dead warchief. Though it was a little odd that it was a warrior that got feared.

Not having the ability to punish a bad team on their 100th mistake due to their ability to be ETERNALLY UNDYING.
