As we head into Dragonflight I must say we have a lot of work to do on allied races, this thread will cover my thoughts and suggestions for Mechagnome. feel free to add in any suggestions, and or discuss amongst yourselves

I’m ready for the inevitable diaper baby comment

  • Mechagnome and Gnome do not share hairstyles, facial hair, eyebrow features even though they share the same “base” model, albeit missing arms and our legs.
    import gnome customization options to Mechagnomes

I think this is a glaring mistake oversight from the start, Gnomes have way more intial customization options that simply did not get put into mechagnome and vice versa

  • add on more metal colors for our mechanical appendages

All metal, no accent colors, full brass

  • additional tint options for heritage armor that match the current three we have.

we only have brass & metal, missing two tints

  • toggle option to x-mog over our hands, legs, and feet

we have are the technology

  • mix and match modifications ex: robotic jaw without sights, cranial cap with iron jaw. etc

a little more creative freedom would be welcome

  • head, chest mechanical modification, delve further into “voluntary” mechanical purity. 70% or 100% purity aka, fully mechanical.

Ulduar Mechagnome/Blingtron forms

lore wise this is a grey area, on one hand King Mechagon wanted to force mechanical purity on everyone no exceptions, but does that include voluntary purity?

nah, diaper gnomes look silly no matter what you do to customize them

Its either robes or the recent past few expansion belts.
I’d like a mix of choices to decide which limb is bionic and which one is not.
And we should have a slow motion run emote.

The comic does mention this as a form of status. It does seem going full robot will remove their will or leaves them conscious like Bondo.

I just don’t like how all of the good mechagnome mogs for plate have to be gold w/ the few available plate robes

Mail and cloth both have a couple good ones

I’m not really a fan of mechagnomes, but I really wish they would add the female mechognome hairstyle “Soft Waves” to gnomes, it’s the cutest gnome style imo. They’re both gnomes so no reason they can’t share hairstyles right? :frowning:

Just created a mechagnome last night for the first time and I was surprised at the lack of hair and facial hair options. It felt very underwhelming. If you can have a regular face, with no mechanical bits, I don’t see why they didn’t given them all the options regular gnomes have. If there’s too much of an issue because of the mechanical options I see no reason they couldn’t have given them the wide variety of hair colors regular gnomes have.
