Finally finished [Mecha-Done] today and got my [Keys to the Model W]!!!
I missed the “Taking The Air Out” quest the last time it was up, and it seemed the last 3-4 times Venture Co was there, it was with the other “Waste Not” quest, otherwise I would’ve finished this sooner.
I also have both of the rare rusty mount drops =P

I did it on my Pally though… thought I was logged in as him when posting, but the mount sure does go great with my gnome!

Just kidding. Congrats. I’ll probably never get it done because of the kill King Mechagon bit. But I’m happy for anyone who can do it! Grats!
It won’t be going away next expansion - if all you have to do is kill a dungeon boss most likely you will be able to solo it then. Well unless blizzard messes around with scaling of old content that bad if they do a lvl squish.

Congrats! I am a bit behind on a good chunk of it, and my rng is horrid, so I’m not getting some of the drops I need. Hopefully I get there eventually, I’m not giving up on it, OR the two drop mounts that elude me on 7!!! alts. Meh.
It will sure be worth it when I get it.
Also trying to save up gold for the exalted mount…that will be awhile as well.

Grats! I got delayed on this one due to not knowing how the secret quests work and struggling to find a group that can kill more than 1 boss in the dungeon. I’ve done all of the dungeon now and I knows how to get the secret quests and am working on that damn triumph of gnomeregan record. The rng on that one is insane.

There are secret quests? Crap, I didn’t even know that. Man I need to read more about this achiev, lol
Yea. Certain quests you need to do only are obtainable when a certain other set of circumstances are in place. The game tells you nothing of this. E.g. one of the secret quests is up now because another unrelated quest is up but specifically NOT another different quest that would otherwise stop the secret quest item from dropping. It can get confusing.

This is only the 2d mount I have EVER really wanted in this game. I wish it was in the cash shop. But it isn’t, so I’ll do the mecha-done eventually. Until today I had not started it. But I saw that this quest was up, so I did this quest. One down, 399 to go…
The timing is terrible. I just got BFA flying last week, after a year of not flying in BFA. Why rush to get a ground mount now?

But he’s easy, I got the mecha-done today done as well and king mechagon first week…SUPER easy boss. Anyone who refuses to kill him is an LFR hero.
I have a minimum 9 week wait on my nazjatar crab and there is nothing I can do to speed it up

Yup. That’s me. I don’t know anything about Mythic stuff. Never done any kind of group thing that didn’t involve group finder. I have no confidence in myself, so I won’t get this mount until I’m able to solo (if that’s allowed) it.
You’ll be able to solo it next expansion for sure. Some mechanics still require paying attention thought and you’ll need some self healing.
