Meanwhile on the retail

It’s sounds good until you realize they also said leveling to the current expansion will be even faster than it is now.

Having less levels doesn’t make it more rewarding when you’re breezing right through them.

So it’s an addiction then.

Meh… it’s BFA.

Get off my lawn.

OP, have fun with your flying mount. Only what, 10 or so months and 17 hoops to jump through before you can actually fly on it instead of watching it flop stupidly along the ground? Enjoy.

thanks for the heads up. I’m just kind of bummed because the 110 boost for reaching 60 in classic only applies to accounts that don’t already own BFA, I was looking forward to using it lol

Yeah logging for the first time in a game in like 3 months, real addiction there.

So we can play tug of war.

I could barely get myself to log into retail to claim the free pet, let alone do any of that other crap.

I just ate one of those Stouffers meals, spaghetti and meatballs.

The sauce was good, but there was a strange consistency and taste with the meat balls. I have another one in my freezer and I’ll probably eat it just cause it wasn’t completely unedible, but… I’m certainly not looking forward to eating it and probably won’t buy it again.

Thought I’d drop this here in case some of you didn’t know.

IF Shadowlands could draw away all the people asking for Classic+, it will have served an absolutely beautiful purpose in its life. Sadly, it won’t. It can’t even accomplish that much, because it is not even close to what the Plussers want. I’m sorry to say you don’t have a clue when it comes to the appeals of WOW Classic.

Y’know, I actually re-installed Retail just to log in and see what was mailed. Got the pet. Got some item that claimed I needed the expansion content to use it. Logged out and uninstalled Retail.

What good are rep and XP bonuses in a game you never want to play?

This … this right here screams such a complete and total ignorance of what WOW Classic players appreciate. NO DUH Retail keeps you at full mana and makes you overpowered and invulnerable.

My WOW Classic priest is around 7 and a half days played, level 43, and every one of those levels has been a blast. I’m in the struggle to get enough gold to earn a mount now, having spent too much on water to replenish mana because I’m leveling with my brother and sister-in-law and don’t even get the Spirit Tap bonus most of the time. We struggle with drop rates. We globe trot repeatedly trying to get quests done.

It’s entirely possibly I’ll hit 60, type /played, and see 16 DAYS, and know that time was worth it.

You say that like it’s a good thing. That to me is baby easy mode and makes me NOT want to play retail.

Thank you OP for posting this information for those who might like to check it out. It’s nice of you to let people who might be interested know.
I don’t know why people can’t just appreciate the effort without assuming some ulterior motive.

It’s a shame it took 12 years for them to come to their senses… 12 years too late.

Im really glad Blizzy puts in the effort and attention to make sure both games have things that will likely appeal to a large variety of players. Whether you only choose to play one game or go play both, there’s a lot of awesome there.

They also will make you choose an expansion. I guess they want you to complete the whole expansion before you go to shadowlands.
Like I’m going to complete WoD zones cuz I love them and pandaria if I still need some experience. It does make sense and its good.

I have my frostblood vanquisher, i’m good.

Call me when we go back to actual real characters, with itemized spec sheets again where you can spec any way you see fit, and get proper abilities back

Also I think they upgraded the fireworks. I don’t think people here are interested in the retail hack n slash op infinite mana gameplay or bfa, but the old raid and cavern of time antics might be worth a look. If nothing else, logging in for a sec to pickup a free battle pet for the day you might return to pet battling is a sec well spent. Anyway, lets set you up with some fencing around your stage to catch the incoming beer bottles.

But yeah, the +15% rep from anniversary and +10% rep from dmf and especially on a human might be a break for people who wanted allied races.

Most tempting thing to me was spamming the legacy raids for the deathwing black dragonflight looking mount. I say spamming, because the guide listing the raid-breaking mechanics had a list of like 10 things on ragnaros and condluded to just be ready to wipe on that one. Someone on that forum complained they had 4 wipes just on safety dance even after explaining it to the group.

Leeroy Jenkins has a chicken wing stand in the Caverns of Time, along with a dance studio, volleyball with khadgar head.

People getting mad about the alterac valley guy being dead or not accumulating badges maybe as fast as retail players want things.
