Who cares if Blizzard acknowledges it - we were waiting on you all along!
Just another thing for people to hate on…nothing to see here folks.
Hmmmmmm do I really want a vacation? Nah… but you know.
why what happened?
I mean to be fair I’d much rather watch a mount off lol.
What even is an MDI
I remember MIDI files, DooM had some pretty baller MIDI music.
mythic dungeon invitational?
Except they had to reset the instance twice because the puzzle maze was broken for one team. It wasn’t their fault, that was on Blizzard.
Weekly small tuning should be happening.
What a dumb comparison… most broadcast sports does better viewer numbers than the top game streamer on twitch…
Yet alone a championship… Hell the american superbowl pulls numbers higher than all of twitch combined.
Bet that what they’re going for though.
Chasing the money instead of making up their own ideas.
that’s what every business does, including game developers. There is no game without investment and profits to keep the lights on.
Depends on the game and whos behind it.
every game requires investment, regardless if someone making it in their parent’s basement…
Who do you think invested the money into that computer? who do you think pays the mortgage, pays the electricity, Education to learn to program a game, etc? think it all came free?
Doesn’t matter if you’re making a game on your own dime or your making a game under the banner of a multi-billion dollar corporation, it all takes money.
Heck yeah. It got me in the mood to slay demons on mars.
Stretches feet in the room
Some of it does.
What’s the point your trying to convey here?
I just think Blizz idea of making their game into a broadcasted sporting event is stupid.
Rather watch paint dry.
while you may think the concept of streaming a game is stupid… you can’t deny that millions of people don’t think it’s stupid, otherwise websites such as Twitch wouldn’t be as popular, and names such as pewdiepie, ninja, etc wouldn’t be household names to millions of kids, teens, and adults, and countless kids aspiring to become a game youtuber/streamer when they grow up…
Yeah but this whole sporting thing is based off the strength of the game itself.
Which isn’t that great atm.
Watching others play the game isn’t that interesting to me. Maybe the streamer fad will slip a little now.
