Thank you for taking the time to respond. Based on your recommendations, I’m thinking …
CPU - i5 - 10400F
CPU Cooler -Stock with chip
Motherboard - MSI H410M-A Pro
Memory - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 26GB DDR-3200 CL16
Storage - ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB M.2
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (Already Own)
Case - Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower
PSU - Corsair CXM 600 W (Already Own)
Im guessing this will be a huge update from what I have and looks like it will cost around $700. Do you have a recommendation for a different case, monitor, or keyboard?
I like the case
Keyboards are personal, but I like the Razer keyboards (and hate the software). I’m using a Razer Black Widow TE TKL.
Double check the motherboard that it has the features you want (m.2 slots, usb, wifi, rgb, fan headers, etc), as that’s going to be the biggest difference between the H410/B460.
Be advised only Z490 allows you to upgrade to 11th gen at this time…but I don’t know if it makes sense to upgrade anyway.
The 10400 should perform as well on the H410 as any other, less fast RAM.
Versus your 4590, the 10400 is about 25% faster single threaded and 50% faster multithreaded.
One of the bigger things is it has a lot more resources, from 4 cores with no hyperthreading (4/4) to a 6 core with hyperthreading (6/12) as well as much less performance loss from security mitigations. You’ll notice less performance loss from running concurrent programs.

I have that case, it does a very good job with air flow. Keyboard is a personal preference and not sure what you are looking for in a monitor; size, refresh, resolution, IPS vs TN vs VA, etc.,
