So as you may have heard a lot of the streamers who have played wow have left for FFXIV … and right now that may be a good thing.
In case you may know Twitch is right now burning due to the whole Dr Disrespect scandal and many of the FFXIV and former wow streamers have been speaking out against Dr Disrespect.
Naturally this will draw the ire of his fans and when FFXIV steps up to defend those streamers that ire will be turned onto FFXIV.

From what I heard and I may be wrong about this. He was perma banned from twitch and no one knows why though many believe it is because the Dr Disrespect demanded more money from his contract, and now he is suing twitch.
Because they are no longer on WoW we dont have to suffer the resulting dumpster fire.
Twitch banned him like. A year ago and there’s been issues with it since I believe he was on Mixer before that place went kaput.
The funniest thing about this is Dr Disrespect does not care for WoW yet he is helping them take down their biggest competitor.
This sounds like tinfoil hat stuff I’m not sure what is even going on here. The Twitch thing happened a year ago right? And I haven’t seen anything about this Dr vs FFXIV news. Does he even care about WoW or FFXIV? He seems to play competitive fps games only.
DrDisrespect has been streaming on Youtube for a while now.

Because the FFXIV playerbase is trying to minimize it it is the same stuff they did about the rampart trolls and goldshire behavior. They do not want ANYTHING to jeopardize their position at the top and instead will brush it under the rug.
He also used to stream, on Twtich but was banned.

Oh but he’s suing now, actually this news is about 2 weeks old.
One guy will take down Twitch though! 
Twitch was scummy with their decision so I don’t blame folks that try to sue them.
A lot of people who spoke out for twitch and against Dr Disrespect do play FFXIV though and stream it. And so become targets by Dr Disrespect fans.
Ok? Who cares? What does that have to do with either game?

And the greater amount of players that don’t consume outside content at all? Why would this affect them?
Also Asmon streams on Youtube as well, the fact that I know this makes me feel dirty. There is no shortage of platforms.

If this is the case he’s going to lose. Twitch has no responsibility to provide him a platform.
