Hi! I’ve had some unusual high ms since sunday (was worst during the weekend, 300-450ms), today it is around 250, just annoying enough to get ability delays or to have those abilities not even register… Restarted router and all the usual.

also, might mention that it is on Cenarion Circle, which is a western time server.
I usually run around 45-65ms.

Eastern US, MS was in the literal thousands today, ONLY in open world, in dungeons it was 15-20, in the open world my MS was 1200-1500 both home and world.

MS ramping up. Open world 350-400 now @ 7pm eastern. Instance /raid ms about 250, so its a bit less, still not fun :frowning:

been 4 days now totally unable to play now . I can’t even do anything for dungeons raids or visions with out the game just going stupid mode. my MS has been as high as 2000 worlds and 900 home and anywhere in between. I have never seen the game in such a state of failure as it is now.

I can do anything else on the internet watch you tube with no issues read news papers or watch the news or play other games. But as soon as I log into wow forget it the game starts around 300 ms home and 500 world and slowly starts climbing upwards till it is no longer fun to play.

The fact is now I am having issues logging into the forums and took 3 tries to actually get it to work and when I did log in it said I had no character profiles and I was unable to post on the forum forcing me to log out and try again only to have my level 58 character displayed not corlia.

Sorry blizz this is NOT a customer issue but something with the game.

Hey, Kovalenko! Updated the title to reflect this issue a bit better so we can gather some information on the issue. Thank you for including the WinMTR test!

We’ve seen similar reports with WoW Classic and high latency in the same area of Quebec and VideoTron Ltee. The reports were mentioning around ~300ms as well. The tests look pretty similar with no packet loss and the average latency being around 70ms. I’m getting this issue tracked on our end to see if we can find any common issues with the high latency reports.

For anyone experiencing high latency issues, please include the following details:

  • Internet Provider:
  • Realm:
  • Does this happen in WoW Retail and WoW Classic, if applicable?
  • WinMTR test while in-game for 10-15 minutes
  • Looking Glass Test

For the WinMTR test and Looking Glass Test. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

I’m currently living in Montreal (Canada) and I have a problem with World of Warcraft Classic.

On World of Warcraft Classic, my latency is very high (300 ms). However, on Overwatch, my latency is normal (50 ms).

I tested World of Warcraft Classic with and without addon, and I still have lags … but when I play Overwatch, I don’t have any problems … It’s really unpleasant to play with those lags … I followed the solutions showed in the support but it did not work.

I followed your steps and but I still lag a lot and with a lot of latency…

Hi, kova again. The high ms problems persists today as well (around 250/varying). Have high ms not only in wow but also diablo3, tried to see if blizzard games were affected…

Just a follow up; last 2 days been 80 home, 120world, its about half of when it was really bad. Much better !

may 10th; back to 250-300. Sad times.
may 12th; 330 ms. This is starting to be annoying :frowning:

wellll…i restarted the modem, the router, updated windows, unchecked some addons and poof, back to 65ms. magic!
