…this is why we cant have nice things.
This is 100x worst then back in 2004 , the waiting list is ridiculous , how can they think its ok for people to wait in line for 3-6hours to play a freaking game ? We are 5 real life friends trying to play together and we havent been able to done that yet. Seriously Blizzard fix you stuff cause so far am regretting even subcript for 3 months. Don’t tell me it was like this in classic cause i played classic and as never waiting more then 30mins on a weekend , watch this weekend chaos it will be massive !!!

Pre change:
Players —>original server ---->massive queue ---->switch to new server ---->moderate queue.
Post change:
Players on moderate server -------> think they can return to original server -----> massive queue.

Been at 30 min queue time for 3 hours. Prolly better off flying a GM around banning afk bots.

Oh really well i’ve only been waiting in the que for 7hours so far.
This. It’s a million times worse. Those that say “the ques are part of the vanilla experience” were NOT there. I was there on vanilla launch, i played on release day of all expansions. This, is by far THE worst its ever been.

Blizz doesn’t believe in classic apparently. Seems like they are grossly out of touch with the player base.

totally agree with you , i can understand the first 24hours , but they should have fix the logging problem by now , there no way a game in 2019 should have a 3-6hours queue time i dont care of their estimate time , i care the queue people in been in queue form 6h45 eastern time with 6400 in queue , now am at 1600 and its 21h15 , thats 2h30 waiting to play a game . Unacceptable
Is this change actually in right now or not? The verbage is vague. “currently being deployed”. So “food is on the way”? Or it is here?

by the look at it Volgaria they havent done much except giving us hope. Which I doubt
The handling of these servers is still unacceptable. I logged in to a 3 hour wait, checked back after 2 hours and was no longer in queue. I sign back in and then have a 4 hour queue. I shouldn’t have to feel like I need to watch the queue every minute to make sure I am still in it, and when that happens I should not need to drop back several thousand in queue.
Been in que for 3 hours. Still 5600 back in the que. Wont be able to play tonight. There is no change to que times since launch.
The slow roll out of servers caused this problem. The solution is to force people to change the plans they all made (in the rollout you created) to reunite on certain servers, reserve their names, etc. Just an overall poorly executed system.
Did this already go into effect for Skerem? because it actually seems worse

Restart the servers please, the queue is not moving at all, a lot of people somehow skipping the queue, its actually increasing constantly.

Not enough, you need to let around 10k more people in on the most crowded servers to have any sort of reasonable queue on them
