Maximum Realm Capacity Increased – August 28

I’ve caved, friends. Deviate Delight it is. That’s 15 hrs on Incendius that I’ll have to come back to later, if at all.

I got home from work. I signed in and got in line at 6300 in line and estimated wait time of 120mins. I mowed the lawn, cleaned, cooked dinner, ate and did dishes. Now I have made it to 3395 with an estimated wait of…120mins. Ingenious plan of makeing time stand still now with the same 5 hour ques. I had to give up yesterday with a 5 hour que and get some sleep before my job. Funny that the original wow community has absolutely no hope of playing classic wow.

Still having like 3 to 4 hour q times on incendius realm. and my frustration I guess stems from being told to try one of the new servers as I did, this was one of the new ones released at the time I made my character, and im still facing these q times while paying $15 a month. I think your about 10,000+ players short of realm cap. or should come out with free transfers to less populated realms people don’t want to restart a new character at this point.

Yep, once people are logged in they will do their damnedest to stay logged in to avoid the q

Logged in at 5:50PM EST
11K Queue
30min then jumped to over 300min

Now 8:06PM EST
7214 in Queue 20min and jumping to 214 min.

Launch day was a 7 hour wait and yesterday was a 6 1/2 hour wait. So I can probably expect to be on around midnight or one again. So exactly what did you hot fix? What capacity was added? An I know the server I am on is Herod is a full server! But that’s where my guild is.

nothing has changed on the busy servers, you can fix it, so fix it. ANY que to play a subscription game is unacceptable

You guys literally just need to uncap servers. Two weeks before p2, split each server into multiple. Give players the option of where to go, and perhaps allow them to see where their friends have selected to go, to keep as many social groups intact.

Boom, classic saved.

i think i just got off work and am in a 11k que and have to sleep in 3hours lol gg

So nice fix folks lol, 2300 + in que so another night with a 2 hour + wait. Good thing I transferred off Whitemane with my friends to a new low pop server Blameaux that still has good seized queue’s day 3. O wait you let it fill to the max…

Agreed. I went to turn in my Hidden Enemies quest for RFC and saw someone endlessly running into a wall in the antechamber just outside Thrall’s room. The lengths people will go to in order to avoid queues is appalling.

You sure ya did this because my Q is about the same as yesterday

Are you sure it’s appalling? I was in a group with friends, running from SFK and I went to eat dinner. I came back to being DC’d and have about 8 hours left in my queue to login.

Blizzard this is bs I walked dogs got d/c’d and now I got 13k queue

I just came back to face a queue.

The frustrating part is that I’ve been looking forward to this since it was announced, but we now know that the game is unplayable for anyone who has a job.

Several of my friends and former guild mates have been equally excited. We created a group so we could communicate and coordinate, everyone looking forward to launch for the last several months.

On day one of name reservation, we all put a character on Thalnos. But then Blizzard let us know there would be long wait times, and suggested that we move to the new server.

So we coordinated again, this time moving to Stalagg. And then once again Blizzard let us know there would be long wait times, so for the second time we did as we were asked and moved to Skeram.

Despite this, we continued seeing posts warning of 10k queues and multi-hour wait times, so just to hedge our bets we made one final plan - we would all switch to Incendius the moment it opened. This server was opening on launch day, so it was SURE to have plenty of room.

When I logged in to create my character, the server was listed as “recommended” which was an encouraging sign. Before I could even finish creating my character though, the server was already listed as medium. “This can’t be good,” I thought to myself. But we had done all Blizzard asked, and surely they would ensure that things didn’t get too out of hand. And yet, before the world actually opened Incendius too was a full server.

When this hotfix was announced, I thought they might finally have something worked out. And yet, here I sit - 4962 in the queue with AT LEAST 2.5 more hours in the queue before I’ll even have a chance to play. I learned today that even someone who races home immediately after work at a normal 9-5 job to queue has literally no chance of getting into the game before 11pm. I was only able to play at all yesterday by using vacation time to run home early and queue at 2pm - to still sit in a 2.5 hour login queue.

It is now too late to relocate our group for a fourth time - those who were actually able to log in and play have already made progress they’d rather not give up. So I guess what I want to know is - when will Blizzard be offering free character transfers for people on overcrowded servers? Short of that, when can I look forward to my refund for the subscription to a game I literally cannot play?

How one of the premier game development companies on the planet could even find themselves in this position in the first place absolutely boggles the mind. Everyone on the planet saw this coming, except for the decision makers at Blizzard, apparently.

LOL I’ve sat in queue to login on day 1…TWICE. The first time my PC gave me a BSOD and rebooted itself, and the second time my monitor went black giving me a “no signal” message. I could not get it to turn back on no matter what I did, so I manually restarted my PC a second time. Yes the queues suck, and no I don’t like sitting in them, but I do it because it’s not fair to everyone else to just park my toon somewhere and make him perma autorun which just makes queues that much LONGER since nobody else wants to log off

idk you got enough time to write all that crap. I dont have time for that.
