Dwarves were on the Alliance in WC3. Theyre an original race in WoW for the Alliance. Having them in Orgrimmar feels weird and lore breaking. And i know Earthen arent Dwarves but the are the general concept.
It would be like giving trolls to the Alliance.

before becoming blood elves, high elves were exclusively alliance. they only reached out to Illidan and the horde after the alliance turned them away.
and alliance now has void elves and horde has Nightborne.
WC3 alone is hard because races werent a thing iirc. But Dwarves were identified as Alliance in WoW 2004.
High Elves weren’t. And since, in WoW, they never were Alliance it made that easier.
Still weird. And weirder still that we didn’t get a Horde race in TBC like was planned.

ur original argument included WC3. and if we’re going strictly by original WoW, nightborne still shouldn’t be Horde, on account of being nelves. and the earthen are PRE-dwarves. earthen came first, and owed no alliegance to anyone by the time dwarves were a thing.

Yeah i made it clear they arent dwarves. I mean the whole look. Which is why i guess NB dont bother me.
They are technically Night Elves, yeah. An old population of them that fought in the War of the Ancients, but still NEs. I believe their circumstances changed how they look though with how closely tied they are to arcane magic.

I was an Alliance Earthen Shaman and I liked leveling as it but I did not want to be it at max level. Faction changed to Tauren but the jump from little to huge felt wrong, everything felt off. Did not want to be an Earthen again and could not faction change back to pick a different Dwarf (30 day cooldown) so I created this current Shaman and used my boost on it.
I’m not sure why I didn’t like playing Earthen but do (or did) like playing Dark Iron.

a bit embarassing but…until the war within i always thought earthen was actually earthern
The only thing I like about earthen is that actual dwarves, real dwarves can use their mogs. I managed to give my dwarf warrior a real warhammer slayer look.
