My friends and I are starting wow with some BRAND NEW players, and there will be 6 of us in total.
No dungeons or anything like that. How many people can be in a group for questing and still get experience?
Do we need to split into 2 groups of 3 or can we stay as one group?

You can have a maximum of five people in a group and still do normal quests out in the world. To have six or more, you will have to convert the group into a raid group in which you will not receive credit for completing quest objectives.
In a raid group you can only work on quests that are designed to be completed in a raid group.
