you like name calling? isnt that against tos these days? if you dont have anything nice to say dont post at all
In arenas, people are porting all over the place, when getting attacked from stealth huge stutters occur. It’s practically unplayable if you play anything that requires something more than run forward-zugzug. Started with the patch
Correct! It is happening on the character creation screen lmao.
it is game breaking, I lost 500 rating. I simply can’t play.
Dragon racing is also rather difficult.
Smooth → smooth → 5ms screen freeze → smooth → smash face first into a tree.
inb4 wow is gonna die 2023 or whenever riot mmo comes out lmao
Not sure this is the problem… I don’t need the 5ms freeze to smash face first into a tree.
Just sticky an FPS problems thread then. FPS issues in October would be entirely different than what anybody is experiencing today. Not to mention that FPS issues are a local problem… I had microstutters in every game on my RTX 3070ti until I determined the manufacturers RGB software was the culprit. The game runs 100% fine for me, no issues. My point is that the game is not broken, there are lots of reasons why fps could drop, in this case different people are experiencing different local issues.
You can’t say they are a local problem at all especially when there have been multiple cases of this happening for many people. While this has been a problem for people since Dragonflight was PTR, it’s also not the first time the game’s coding has been the cause of people having FPS issues. There’s a whole blue post from when people were doing SL raids against Sylvanas, and Blizz discovered the way they run things on the server was the reason behind it all, and they made a big post about how they were going to address it.
Same could be said about you posting nonsense. Don’t post if you don’t have anything constructive to add to the conversation.
You sound worse than Pawgwalker, get out of here. The forums is filled with more fps issue threads after the patch, since more people is starting to notice. The only thing that runs 100% fine is your lies. Oh yeah “lots of reasons”.
This issue has been the same ever since pre-patch, nothing has changed regarding that. After about 100 prebuild PCs being tested in WoW (and other games, benchmarks etc.) at work since October, only WoW has same issues across them all.
You might want to start looking for a cultprit in your own mind, than coming here claiming it’s not the game that have issues.
Before patch but still relevant. First time ever, running M+ SBG, GPU usage spiked, temp went up, fans went crazy (this is the usual random occurrence I’ve been getting since launch). But this time it actually shut off my GPU (3070). Fans continued at high speed, had to hard shutdown the PC and restart. Went straight back into M+ SBG, ran the whole thing without issue and hasn’t done it (“it” being GPU crash) again.
It’s the randomness that’s so weird, as people have said it even happens on the character select screen. I have been standing in one spot fishing in lava, no camera movement and all of a sudden it ramps up. Just bizarre…
I came and said im having the same issues ect and you came calling people names. do me a favor and leave me alone
No you came in and said why are you necroing an old thread, which it’s not. It’s been quite a staple since the prepatch.
Name calling aside, which wasn’t needed, this IS an ongoing issue for quite a few people. and given the views on this thread, i’d say it’s a huge problem for quite a few people, giving the sample size.
i didnt realize it was going that old just that is from oct. I did come to find out what broke and make a post but just added to this what not like the blues will answer though
Having major FPS issues in raids/dungeons
whenever ascendance procs my FPS drops to 10 and game locks up for 5 seconds+. Its unplayable. Cant do M+, cant raid.
Heard the Trading Post coming next week has a collectible that removes stuttering.
Unfortunately it takes a year of currency to obtain.
until they release currency packs.
All part of the business plan behind the Trading Post…
