Not if you want to save a third of a charge on each M+ pull, it’s not.
Like, you’re free not to optimize your tools, but let’s not pretend there’s nothing at all to optimize and go pruning over your refusing to fully engage with it.
So for as bloat goes, Salvo should simply absorb Explosive Shot when the latter is also taken, giving that extra 2 shots per minute the same advantages Salvo offers. Mockup below deals also with the Salvo very obviously needing a nerf in AoE.
Salvo – 2 charges. 30 second recharge.
Upon activation, your next multi-target attack or area of effect attack will consume up to as many charges as enemies it strikes to apply an Explosive Shot to one enemy per charge consumed.If Explosive Shot is taken, you gain a third charge and they recharge in 15 seconds instead.
- Single-target skills may still activate Salvo if and only if they contain multi-target or AoE effects, such as Hydra’s, Razor Fragments, or Trick Shots.
