Seriously, who’s the carnie at Blizzard that thought Marks of Honor was a good idea. It’s bad enough that Arcane Mages crap on any and everything and BG’s boil down to whoever has the most wins, but being unable to simply get the PvP gear sets, which you nerfed for SOME stupid reason, just adds to the frustration.
Was it the same tobacco chewing carnie that thought giving out crap green gear in those boxes was better?
Out of ten boxes (for winning), I got the same cloak and weapon combination in five boxes and one, ONE Mark of Honor. Thanks game, I already have an Heirloom Weapon and Cloak, but whatever, the hair-ripping battle of the Arcane Mages was so worth it.
How is can you be this stupid, Blizzard?
You have an entire PvP gear system at your finger tips, yet you nerf them and instead rely on RNG green vomit and these stupid Marks of Honor to infuriate anyone playing a sub-120 BG…

Yeah I was hoping to use those marks to buy crafting recipes but damn is it so luck of the draw trying to get them.

The power disparity throughout all PvP is absurd, even at 120. I tried to tell people to stop queueing with no gear and they didn’t like it.
It’s not even a power disparity. Arcane Mages are just flat out smothering low-level BG’s. It’s the whole Shockadin fiasco again.
Party sync too. Ever party sync’d with a low level friend as a geared 120 and jump into a bg? You’re gonna slay. Lol.
Blizzard doesn’t care about PvP, especially low level PvP.
The faster that you come to this realization that happier you’ll be.
If you want a good PvP experience, it will not come from WoW.

Dunno, but they are a good idea. An incredibly effective one. You’re supposed to farm marks at 120, not 20.

Why? What’s the point of farming marks at the end when the gear is obsolete? How’s that a better system than simply buying tiered gear with Honor Points?
It makes no sense.
Because Marks exist to offer you legacy transmog, not real PvP gear. PvP gear is not even the same discussion, that system is completely busted and broken beyond comprehension and there is only the faintest glimmer of hope that Shadowlands may remedy it with upgradeable conquest pieces.

It’s a whole different level at low level BGs. Arcane mages and Marksman hunters own those brackets.

People can actually use that gear while leveling up through BG’s, why gate it for just transmogs?

Because you have heirlooms and quests and dungeons and end-of-match rando PvP gear to level with?
But they already had the gear there. There’s no need for random gear when there’s perfect sets RIGHT THERE.
But nah, PvP is a side attraction lul, get back to grinding dungeons.
They don’t really want you using meta gear from expansions. It’s why legacy tier effects are disabled, this is a similar concept.
