The only thing that has changed, is that people can now see they you will abandon their key at the drop of a hat. You can still try and join keys, you can still start groups to run keys.
All that’s changed is people can see who you are. It’s impossible to get marked as a leaver unless you leave keys.
You won’t be punished if you simply follow the rules and initiate an abandon.
You want people to complete a skill check to come to your keys, so if you want others to jump through hoops why can’t you follow the basic guideline of initiating an abandon? Seems like a double standard if you ask me.

No you should just keep continuing to do the key you signed up for because your group voted and they didn’t want to abandon it. There’s 4 other people in your group, not just you. If that’s not a thought you’re capable of holding inside of your head, maybe group content isn’t for you.
Besides, what a flex you could have 4 manning the rest 
The vote to abandon should be an automatic thing if a player leaves the group. like notification window. “player has left your group do you want to initiate a vote to abandon?”
well that what happens when you have leaver problem , if Blizzard can fix selfishness they would win a noble prize. So you take lesser of two evils which existed since wrath

If you got the deserter it means it is not your first dungeon you do something like that and I’m glad they implemented this system.
It’s good to know that they’re penalizing habitual dcers now.
It feels like you’re just rage-baiting the discussion for attention, but you’re not really going to find folks on your side here.
It’s standard social contract, you joined a key with the intention of completing it. Everyone who plays wow pays the same subscription price. Just because you want to try-hard your way to the top doesn’t mean you’re the best thing since sliced bread. You’ve admitted to leaving several keys, despite there being a system in place to leave a key without the Scarlet Letter over your head. Leaving keys has impacts on the other people you were playing with. You deserved to be marked a habitual leaver.

i’m in favor of being able to leave whatever key for whatever reason, but some people are really obnoxious about doing it.
Leaving one key shouldn’t be enough to flag you.
And as stated when the system was implemented, the mark goes away when you complete a couple of dungeons. Just go blitz through a couple low ones and you’ll be fine.
