"Many of our best devs working on mobile"

You may be right, but Blizzard games are PC games. There is no getting away from that and the fact that the single largest audience for Blizzcon has been and remains PC gamers.

Blizzard certainly can grow its customer base by expanding to other platforms, but my concern is that the PC audience are being overlooked/shortchanged in that process.

Only time will tell.

I specifically mentioned in my post that Blizzard games are and have been PC titles even if later ported to other platforms.

Doesn’t matter. Doesn’t change what I said.

If a product is released on both PC and Console, it is not only a PC title.

Or more the point we arent the future revenue of the company, which does support the idea that wow numbers have fallen, but just my opinion.

Blizzard making console games is merely an afterthough driven by financial decisions to sell more units. OW was always developed primarily as a PC game, the entire OWL is entirely PC players.

Every blizzard game has started as a PC game that was eventually ported to some other systems, even Hearthstone didn’t get Android support for nearly a year after it’s initial launch.

I’m completely fine with Blizzard making mobile games btw, but to shift your focus away from your primary platform and admittedly putting your “best devs” on mobile so you can dig into a pile of dirty money (microtransactions are a cancer on the industry) is just WRONG for a company like Blizzard.

Not even considering they’re alienating the almost fanatical base of loyal players, many of whom have been loyal to this company for 20+ years… Every other gaming company in the WORLD wants to have a loyal base of players like Blizzard has but all they do lately is develop games we don’t want.

If those devs want to work on the mobile game, who are you to tell them no?

If I was their boss I’d tell them to go make a REAL game instead.

Their customers. The people who buy the games. F the stocks people. The Fans should be who they aim for. Not the stocks.

I’m find with blizz porting pc games to other platforms because the pc was first made . What not okay is beep on their fans whom are mostly pc gamers.

How is that relevant to what I asked? Everyone is assuming that Blizzard is forcing these devs to work on the mobile project but maybe they CHOSE to work on the mobile project. Maybe they like the game, maybe they just wanted a change of pace.

There is no evidence to suggest that by making mobile games, Blizzard is abandoning PC games. So how is creating mobile off-shoots “beep on their fans”?

which means we will have nothing for bfa…thank the heavens for classic wow thats all im looking foward to aside from zandalari trolls.
