As a person who manually boxes 5 characters from time to time, I’m slightly skeptical with 20.
Managing 5 within TOS is hard as hell, and some of the most basic mechanics in-game are impossible if you don’t severely overgear it.
Not to mention hardware events were recently tied to follow API, making it even harder to recover from things like fear mechanics.
I feel like I’m more qualified than most to agree with press X for doubt. I wouldn’t be surprised if hardware-based broadcasting was involved in some form. Even if he’s mousing over each window, I’d suspect a turbo repeat command on keys.
Even as a multiboxer, I think multiboxing in the open world is BM. I refuse to do it. I refuse to PVP with more than one character even if the other 4 are following me to my next location.
Blizzard truly should just ball up and ban multi-client. Or, at the very least, say that the maximum number of currently online character levels per IP is [level cap] + 1 for bank alt.
