I have been trying to transfer my shaman back to Mankrik after someone transferred me without my knowledge. I was wondering if anyone knows if Mankrik is going to open again for transfers? I know they’re closing a bunch of realms to have mega servers so I don’t know. If anyone could shed some light on this situation for me I would appreciate it!!! Customer support knows NOTHING!!!
Isn’t Mankrik going to be shut down in favor of the megaservers?
Mankrik is a Legacy server now. It’s not closing, but you cannot create more characters on it, unless you already have characters on it. They are trying to nudge people off. I was talking to other players on Mankrik Trade, we are not going anywhere.
I honestly don’t know why they did this to Mankrik. I am still on it, and there are always people out and about. I wouldn’t call it crowded, but it has people unlike a lot of the Legacy Servers.
I wish Mankrik would open back up for people people seeking a less popular mega server. I see more people when I am on Mankrik then I do on Bloodsail, and that server is still listed as active.
You may not be able to transfer back to it, but if you still have any characters on the server you can still make a new one to level up with.

I see more people on Mankrik then I do on Bloodsail. Mankrik should have remained open like Bloodsail did for people that do not want the mega server.
I guess a lot of people just don’t get it.. Mankrik was killed like every other server besides Grobbulus at the start because they do not want those servers being there anymore. They made the decision for you weather you like it or not. Eventually Bloodsail was given life because its RP community AND they did a fine job projecting their protest to make it so. You know, like, at the time of this all happening. Then you can just look at the results of Grobbulus and see that even when you offer free transfers to a server, hype it up as some PVP paradise, and all of that junk it still crumbles and dies until they had to lock it and allow people to transfer to the mega realm there as well.
Yes, some die hard people will always demand to stay on some of these things. The cause is always strong at first. The true fanatics will flip out and try to make it seem like some vast majority really want it.. but the truth is.. every week that goes by the numbers dwindle down a bit more. A few quit. A few transfer. The power of the protest only weakens. That is why they do it this way. The fanatical voices only grow dimmer as it ends up being 2-3 people screaming while the numbers show exactly what they want is occurring.
mankrik has been locked since the server merge. You cannot transfer to that server. You can only make new characters if you already had a character on that server.
anyone know how the free character transfers work off Mankrik? Is it available for all characters or just one? Also, how does it work for guilds? if I transfer off the guild master does it keep the guild or is it gone?
The guild cannot move with you. You can toss it at someone else that is remaining on the server, or make a low level alt to be guild leader and give it to them, so that your main can transfer off the realm.
I believe the realm transfer is good for all of your characters on that realm.
Don’t play dumb; everyone knows that the transfer is for all toons and there are no guild transfers
you select your character, the server, and press OK. In a few minutes you are on a new server.
Every char on a legacy server should have a free transfer to the mega server. You just have to transfer individually.
Neither. You cannot transfer guilds in MoP Classic. Meaning, you have to give up your guild. Your guild isn’t gone, it simply can’t move with you. You have to give your guild lead to someone else, or disband the guild - otherwise it doesn’t let you transfer.
