Mandatory Death: Mechagon!

That bug has been in the game basically since launch. It isn’t going to be fixed because it is evidently something wrong deep in the code someone wrote 20 years ago.

Again like I have said in another thread, Leslie the programmer doesn’t know what Dave wrote 20 years ago so she can’t fix it.

Hearthing is not an unreasonable thing to do.

I think Mechagon combat bug is more prevalent than other zones. So, it has to be something in Mechagon, not necessarily in the original bug.

I don’t really understand coding so I may be wrong.

Sometimes I wish these forums had facebook emojis.

It might be. I’m not going to pretend to know.

I figured it was just the same ol’ stuck in combat bug that has been around forever.

Why?

Current phone emojis aren’t cancer enough for you?

Oh no. Mechagon combat bug is far more prolific. It is honestly infuriating when it happens to you, but hilarious when it happens to your buddy who’s questing with you in discord.

It’s easier to train your mobs into someone else because of player density and while they’re fighting, you’re in combat.

 Because then I wouldn’t need ten characters to giggle at some of these posts.

Elegiggle.

Wasn’t that hard.

You youngsters with your silly phone emojis.

Bwahahahahahahaha… I’m 43. Hardly a youngster.

Wtf I turned 30 this year.

DUDE.

Sounds like a lie to me – restarting the game client after a forced shutdown doesn’t remove you from combat. Unless, of course, it takes you a good 5-10 minutes or more to log back in, I suppose.

It is a good xpac (like every xpac) to be a hunter!

Night elf master race!

Fixed that for you, Rastlin. Missed you buddy.

It might be a critter that was affected by an aoe or something that didn’t kill it.

If you don’t go to mechagon you won’t get stuck in combat… points at own head

And there it is.

A Rastlin thread on a Monday is a rare animal, but not necessarily a pleasant one.

A lie? Seriously?

If I don’t just die, I cannot log out. If you try to log out you get the message “you can’t do that right now”.

So instead I go to the task manager and find the WoW program. I then force it to end.

So now I am logged out.

Knowing that it sometimes takes a while for the game to realize you are logged out I generally wait a couple minutes before trying to log back in. (And take a BR break or eat or come here.)

I then log in.

It is ridiculous and a slap in the face that I have to do this again and again and again.

Blizzard need to fix this!!!
