Actually, I havent expressed any preferences towards what I want. You’re simply making assumptions based on the fact that i have pointed out that #nochanges was never possible and has been a fallacy from day one.
a fallacy? not according to blizzard. that was the goal since day one according to them. stated right at the same time they announced classic. so again, if you’re so anti no changer, as you continually express, what is it you wanted then?

Then why were layers introduced? Why are servers 3-10 times larger than actual vanilla servers were? Why were resource node respawn rates doubled?

“we want to recreate the vanilla experience, just not the launch experience”. thus the use of layering and higher population caps. not happy about it.
and fyi - dynamic respawns were part of vanilla. so with a higher cap, obviously it will impact node respawns.
still ignoring the pertinent question though i see.

But the increase in node spawns remains in place, even on a single layer. The servers are still many magnitudes larger than vanilla servers.
Again, #nochanges is a farce.
I’m decimating horde. I actually feel sorry for them. As a 41 rogue i can pick any fight i want and delete them with my gut ripper dagger so far 100-3 on targets my level or higher

because the realm populations are still higher then during vanilla, thus the nodes are spawning faster.
trust me, i agree with you, i would rather have authentic vanilla realm populations.
I’m not trolling: try to level fast to 60 and see it for youself
sadly most of the people who want to pvp, went horde for the easier game in town, so nobody wants to join the losing team at the moment.
When it comes to the real Battle for Azeroth. The Alliance are weak. The ones that do want to fight are the ones being left stranded.
Id rather have fights where ever i go, then have to be Horde and wait an hour for 1 ally to show up.
I enjoy being the faction that has it hard, cuz who plays video games on easy mode? Oh ya Horde LoL
Have fun with your 30 minute BG ques.
For the Horde!
Heartseeker allies are the softest of them all. Ran away from balanced servers due to pvp. Lmao
You’re the same kind of person that will complain about dead servers a month from now.
There is no “war” there’s just ranks and honour, both of which are actually easier to get playing as the minority faction.
Being an underdog feels much more fulfilling anyway, accomplishing things against your odds feels like you accomplished something. Winning with 2x the numbers is just boring and easy.
Did the mighty 300 sit there and count out the enemy and ask to transfer to another unit stationed on the back ranks? NO!
Actually the Roman’s kinda denied their request and they had to go with what they had.
Why don’t you try to recruit alliance to struggling servers?
This is not only overwhelmingly ineffective for either side to do (I’ve seen horde try this for heartseeker), this is also a lot of effort for no reward. You can’t simply swing a population like that.
The best possibility to swing a server pop is to have a much MUCH more active premade and constructed PvP presence on a server. That’s the only way to turn things around from a 2:1.
In other words, mass migration isn’t the solution…people fixing their problem at their own server is the only answer to an issue created by Blizzard, the Horde and the Alliance. (inb4 perfect political parallels)
The imbalance emulates my vanilla experience… and TBC… and onward. Big deal. I am having fun playing this horde game.
Chris Metzen used to come out at Blizzcon saying “for the horde”, “my horde”. The devs made a game where they could pound on alliance with their rock band horde.
People should realize its a horde game, always had been. I play alliance on a pvp server because i like having my head on a swivel and constantly having to look over my shoulder. Lots of pvp encounters. And if get camped i play an alt for a bit. It all adds to the flavour.
Like it or leave. Please. Cause if you accept what is as it is, then you can adapt and play the game for what it is.
Ive been Horde for the last 14 years this is my first Alliance toon over 25. I never realized it but Alliance have a much harder time getting around.
Alliance do not have Flight Paths in all areas and resort to running or flying to alternate areas and then needing to run. Alliance also have other then the Tram from SW to IF no quick way to get to other cities. To get to Darnassus its a really long run through Horde territory.
Whereas Horde just hope on a Zeppelin and zone right in!
Most of us use booty Bay as a FP for 35ish -45ish and need to run long distances to turn in quests.
Horde also have the luxury of Wailing Caverns, RFK, RFD, and SM all in Horde Controlled areas that alliance need to run from 25 -47ish.
Horde also have Wotf right now the only ability in the game that removes fear, with no trinkets alliance that are not Dwarf Priests are stuck in fears usually until dead!
So yes, Alliance do have it harder, I would have never known had i not rolled alliance this time around.
