Heh, yeah. When I was leveling my alts I would think “This is saving me around 10k gold each alt I level up.” Was still a pain. Also don’t regret it either, though.

Now that everyone is getting higher in their covenants, more and more world quests are becoming Epic quality, which will increase the quantity of shards and crystals. I’m selling about 3-5 each day lol… gotta make that money!

Getting mats is the easier thing, it’s just too bad how gutted the profession has become. Might as well remove it and let NPCs sell you the enchants.

I am guessing the OP doesn’t do much content or whatever… my enchant toon is never short of enchanting mats to make anything my characters need and friends too. got so much in my bank that i’ve been set for the entire tier since december, and able to make new enchants as i’ve replaced gear with heroic raid gear, M+ gear, and now mythic raid gear, etc.

For real. You can even shatter the Epic shards into Blue ones and Blue ones into Dust. Enchanters aren’t struggling at all.

Imagine those of us who did it week 1. Buying crystals was the most efficient way to level it up, at 12k each crystal. My warlock was very sad. Now its so easy to get crystals.

Sold every single shard I obtained in the beginning. Best move I’ve ever done with playing the AH.

I’m really curious as to what is actually setting WQ item level. Of all my leveled toons they’re all at 32 renown and only this one sees epic gear drops from world quests. Which I can’t use on this toon.

They don’t seem to update correctly in their interface. Blue items appear as rewards for my characters but they’re epic quality. My DH was getting 194 ilvl pieces when she was like 190ish.

Seems to be dropping what they say they will.

179 iLvl alt, renown 32, WQ says it will drop 164 gear, drops 164 gear.

Something other than renown is setting this and making sure it drops behind your toon.

Enchanting is almost impossible in SL. Not enough gear drops to disenchant for mats.

And then add the entitled sorts who think that the 3 drops you do manage to have in a week should go to them instead because they ‘need’ the +4ilvl upgrade lol.

Glad I didnt waste time with crafting on this one. I stuck to mining and Engineering on all four characters I brought into SLs…and only my main has been capped or max level. Engineering is the ‘ME’ profession. All the wormholes and gizmos.
screw crafting till blizzard starts putting a little effort into it again.
