Man’ari Eredar Allied Race

  1. They are no longer under Sargeras’ control… so that means their minds are free’d and no longer corrupted, so they’d more likely be friendly to their blue kin.

  2. They are way back over on Argus, shouldn’t need to remind you that the rift to Argus closed behind us after the Pantheon pulled Sargeras back… So we have no way to get back to Argus… unless the Draenei repair the Exodar or we find a working Legion ship.

  3. A better allied race would be a non-eredar demon race… without Sargeras to lead them or control/enslave them… they could be willing to join us.

To be fair, orcs would probably be the only race who COULD forgive and potentially redeem them. Who else could possibly understand the lure and shame of having served the Legion?

The alliance… don’t forget that we have a long history of being allied with the Elves :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: The very same elves who committed the worse atrocity against all of Azeroth, caused the Legion to find us and caused the Sundering… So for as long as the humans been around, we been allied with the High Elves (Lordaeron), and made friends with the Night Elves

Not to mention we allied our selves with the Draenei Eredar… the very same race that the bulk of the Burning Legion is comprised of… the race who pretty much founded and is responsible for the Burning Legion in the first place… an dthe Draenei Leader (Velen) who did nothing to stop them, and are responsible for the corrupted Orcs, and set in motion all the events in Warcraft I, Warcraft II, Warcraft III, and World of Warcraft…

So yeah… the Alliance definitely understands more than any one else, as they make allies out of the races responsible for this whole mess we call Warcraft…

Not one of those races have served the Legion in living memory, Alliance Night Elves and High Elves are all made up entirely of descendants of forces who fought against Azshara and Draenai are very, very clearly opposed to the Legion. Hell, none of those races even have any warlocks still amongst them. Meanwhile many orcs and Forsaken have served the Legion in living memory. Maybe the Nightborne too, it’s not super clear.

served or not, they are of the same race and all did nothing to stop it. it’s just like Velen was told by Illidan during Legion… he stood by and watched as Kil’jaden and Archimonde became demons and founded the Legion, and he did nothing to stop them nor stood his ground and fight, instead he ran away.

Not sure what’s worse… Serving the Legion, or doing nothing to stop the Legion from forming in the first place…

That’s not the same as having actually served. The orcs could UNDERSTAND the Man’ari in a way their former compatriots don’t because they shared the same experience, whereas the Draenai have a very different form of guilt since they didn’t actually do anything wrong.

And don’t be silly, of course actually serving the Legion is magnitudes worse than failing to stop it.

Redemption is, I would say, the primary theme of the modern Horde. Which is why they keep swinging the villain bat at us.

Hey, the Pandaren of the Horde are now on the same team as the Zandalari.
Remember, the Zandalari also teamed up with the Mogu and almost wiped the Pandaren off the face of Azeroth.
Soooooooooo… There is that.

Having the Manari join the Horde and having Yrel somehow make it back to the Alliance would absolutely give the Alliance a reason to be the “bad guys” for once.
I’d love to see an expansion where she comes back and disobeys Anduin’s orders, starting a war for no reason.

Exactly, it’s perfect!

To be fair we already have that. She’s been performing a fairly effective ethnic cleansing of the free orcs of AU Draenor.

We’ll need allies. The Alliance got access to Void stuff, also Fel is sort of the Horde’s thing.

Honestly, it’d be more interesting to me if the Man’ari are a people whom Velen can’t forgive (and who could blame him?)

Heck, in addition to the Man’ari joining the Horde, revive Rakeesh and make him their racial leader. Velen would absolutely lose his mind. It would make for some excellent conflict.

Than again we’ve seen Fel/Chaos Orcs work on the side of “good” before, with the Fel Orcs that worked for Illidan

And Those Horde Fel Orc guards at the Outland Gate.

Which we never got an explanation for.

That or let locks summon

Would be better than this whole azerite thing.

No seriously, why do we have Fel Orcs guarding the Outlands Portal?
How did that happen?
