Malefic Cores, can now not be caught up

Don’t be daft, every expansion has it’s own catchup.

And yes BfA has had catchup in the game since launch.

Was that really a statement…

@nagasis.

Has it though? 15 years of what? 15 years of Subs declining down to at this point wow has less players than FF14? Is that supposed to be some kind of achievement?

Your living in denial. This game is dying more and more every year. They stopped releasing numbers, but other sites have them, we are below 4m now. 30m in Wrath, 4m now. Thats not a good thing.

You underestimate guilds, it’s not uncommon for even a crappy guild to drop someone for not min-maxing.

you really shouldn’t argue unfounded claims. Wow still has more than the estimated 1 million that ff currently has (it was estimated 2m at launch of ShB, which was still less then wow estimates)

12m in wrath.

FF14 had 14 million players as of Aug 2018. Best google bud.

Edit: its 18 million as of Dec 2019.

Wow from the 3rd party data we have is at 4 million. Wow is LOSING.

How would there be BfA catch up stuff for BfA content upon it’s launch when there is nothing to catch up to?

14 million accounts made, 2 million estimated active players.

That’s like saying wow had 100 million players in mop, when it was 100 million accounts.

Currently there’s an estimated 650k active players in FF.

are you ignoring the ap catchup that has been in the game since launch.

I mean, they did nerf test of valor to “only” 3 weeks instead of 6. On top of 3 weeks of the first tier raids and 3 weeks of ToT raid clearing for drops.

9 weeks for that one, with no smaller gap closing week after week it’s just a step change once you got the cloak.

Or WoD, on a similar 9 week timeframe for the ring and THEN you get to kill archimond on normal or above every week to upgrade it.

Legion trinkets from Argus that weren’t even guaranteed drops, and then you upgraded them by 5 item levels from 940 to 1000 by killing Argus on normal or above and each different trinket for your different specs were upgrades separately.

But Blizz was at least smart enough back then to not make them work in PvP.

And back in the earlier days raids were just much stingier with loot so gearing up was a much slower process.

60-90 emblams of frost per item at earning 2 per day from the daily heroic anyone?

That right there, is my only complaint anyway.

Dont give us core catchups and disable Corruption in PVP and its ZFG from me.

if they dont release numbers to their investors why do you think a random site on the internet would have them?

so find a crappy guild that isnt full of sh*t?

not always an option for people.

If you work weird hours there may only be 1-2 guilds that raid during your off time.

spoken like a true forum troll.

the invasions alone aren’t enough, especially if you are a returning player and working essences and corruptions.

who is begging for welfare troll? people just want the game we have always had. Even legion didn’t have this absurd level of gating and grinding.

The point being made is you don’t need it for ce or aotc. And secondly if you haven’t got aotc by now a lil extra corruption resist ain’t gunna help ya

and whose problem is that?

Ah yes, let them just quit their job so they can raid.

Allowing you to grind out cores would literally hurt no one.

Because everything in wow is tracked… Achievements, Boss Kills, Alts, Armory data, AH Data.

You can reconstruct the player data using that information which is what they do. You think wowhead doesnt have the data? They do.

If they didnt, they couldnt tell you that 24% of the playerbase currently has AOTC. How do they know its 24%? 24% of what? Its called Datamining.

24% of characters have it.

I play 12 characters off and on, they’re all considered active according to any metric.

I’m not 12 separate people. Or even 12 separate subs.

Also, the chinese external api has been broken for a very long time and they can’t get that data.

nah my guy lol. thats no what i asked or inferred. if you dont have the time for a regular raiding schedule, whose problem is that to solve?
