Maledict needs to be instant

That’s not how it works, you take Survival tactics and just dispel the debuff. Feign death alone does nothing to it lol.

@OP maledict would just become way stronger with this change. Rather see it go or maybe just not even have the necrotic effect.

I honestly find that while Proc Trinket+On Use was also stale at sometimes, there was more to at least manage with optimal timing of it, plus actually having your classes do something during them is kinda nice. Actually I think the choices would be better in general if they were just better balanced and you could reason why you’d decide on any of the offensive trinkets or having defensive ones, instead of just everyone using maledict with safeguard/battlemasters by default. But that’s a different topic anyways.

I definitely agree those addons make things pretty cheesy though lol, also don’t understand why so many people even need to use it though I don’t really find it that difficult to notice.

If you don’t have it at this point, then you basically aren’t putting any time in todo arena. You get a free 385 one by just playing. @_@

I don’t think it is, it’s hilarious to get an entire team to use their cds ( cloak, reflect, ams, etc) when I’m casting clone on the healer and most of the time the dps isn’t even in range/los to be cloned. They pop their cds because the addon told them to do so…

Right. Remove Maledict.

I knew that, I just wanted to have an MVP reply to my post.

Totally disagree.

You’re already expecting way too much. There are lots of effects in the game that help communicate to the player what’s happening. Whether visually with some spell animation or with an actual sound effects. They all serve the same purpose: To inform the player of what’s happening.

Every player takes in information differently. Some people are fine visually seeing something, others are more apt at hearing.

It’s good to bare in mind as well, that EVERY player has a different setup. Different screen size, different resolution, different key binds, etc. Expecting every player to rely on the same visual are audible cues is ridiculous considering the playing field is already uneven.

If you’re playing wow and you don’t understand addons or how they work, you might as well not be playing at this point. Whether it’s pve, pvp, pets, mogs, auction house… you name it and there is an addon for it.

The game would be a LOT less fun. They exist for a reason. Over the years, blizzard has incorporated a lot of once addons into the stock UI. Everyone also likes stuff in a different spot, or a different look. I’d quit the game instantly if they started blocking them.

Maledict incoming!!!

Well, I guess that’s one way to “balance” PvP…
