Making Delves fun!

not really - nothing in them is individually difficult.

Maybe when you do entry level stuff.

But no delves are the easiest content in the game awarding hero track

when you do heroic raiding and whatever the equivalent of mythic plus 15 is now. The difficulty in raids comes from everyone doing what they are supposed to not individual difficulty.

The amount of times I reset torghast to get a power that trivialized any difficulty out of the content was dumb. Hard pass on torghast-esq powers for delves.

Thats still difficulty delves dont have at all.

Anyone thats in reality knows that delves dont have any actual difficulty due to the fact that it doesnt even require optimization. You only have to not die.

Delves are unbalanced…again.

iLevel 589, go into Tier 6 for 574+, get totally spanked by first mobs, die. WTH?
Quit. Try another delve. Same thing. Therefore, the difficult level is incorrect.
More importantly = it’s NOT FUN.

Whereas before, Delves were challenging all around, but more so the higher Tier, if it’s higher than your item level. The point of it telling the item level is so you get an idea of how strong you should be, before trying it, and knowing to expect a bigger challenge lies ahead. Instead, it’s out of wack, Tier 6 is more like for those with 604 item level.

You must not play dungeons to not know this because, typically, parties blitz through them and melt everything. Whereas in Delves, that’s not possible because of the mechanics or sectional requirements, example: kill enemies to fill bar from 0% to 100%, and each gives only 1-2%, to progress, Rescue 5-7 Whoevers spread throughout map saturated with mobs and occasional Elites, or Destroy 50 Orbthingies all over the map, etc., all in order to progress. And the fact you don’t have a party, just “Brann”, and assuming you don’t die setting you back.

That’s how.

And lack of rewards is atrocious. Last one I did just 18 Valorstones, 30 Resonance Crystals, a junk item worth 10g…no gear. Again. Yup. Even if it wasn’t “fun” it could be endured if it was “rewarding”. ‘No Pain, No Gain’ right? But instead, it gives one a “sinking feel”. They might as well hand players a sign that says “Thanks Sucker!” at the end in the overflowing “treasure” room. It’s like at some arcade you spend tokens and hour to earn 1000 tickets from Skeetball or something, only to find all that buys is a crazy-straw or a rubber finger puppet HAHAHAH…

Basically:

  1. You’re trolling
  2. Or you’re doing something wrong

1 is looking a bit too obvious.

Do the ones marked on your map as bountiful and use keys to open the chest at the end. That’s where the good loot is.

T8 delves take significantly less time to complete than the M+ dungeons of equivalent reward level.

You seem to be comparing random heroic dungeon to +3-4 non bountiful delves.

It’s clear that’s what you’re doing.

You asked how and I explained in detail how Delves take longer because they have requirements that take time to complete before the player is able to progress, whereas Dungeons do not, instead, the parties in dungeons just need to cut through and take down the bosses. If the player is completing the tasks required by the Delve, doesn’t mean they’re doing “something wrong” just because the task takes X amount time to complete.

Torghast was more fun with the boss fights and the powers you got honestly.

Not really, it was already explained to you way earlier you get 606 Champ gear by someone else here a few days ago and you think it’s a terrible reward for the effort lol.

If you also want to, you can also try LFG if you feel like the time to complete them is taking too long. There are ppl grouping up for them everyday.

To be fair, the mini bosses are a nice addition. Maybe they need more of them? Maybe they need to adjust their spawns so they can’t be avoided?

In any case, this was a first pass, and I’m assuming they’ll improve their options… assuming a lot of people want to do delves.
