as many formerly blood elf formerly high elf died there, void elves are allowed to claim rights on that. it’s where their blood spilled. it’s inheritance.
Let’s not get too hasty. I imagine even their heads would cause void contamination.
Void Elves lost claim to anything in the Ghostlands when they disobeyed and kept practicing Void Magic. Go play with tentacles in Stormwind.

luckily, this is a flexible and retconnable video game story, it’s what they’ve done for the last 5 or 6 years.
It’s not gonna be retconned. It’s the whole motivation to them going to the Alliance. Thinking it’ll be retconned to facilitate you and your wants is ridiculous.

i disagree. it’s where the money lay. if they retcon and give void elves their own land that they deserve it will make the soon to be high elf RPers very happy, and those vastly outnumber the lore people
did i not say my friend that demon hunter blood elves are better than regular blood elves?
