This is what makes me think that this is an oversight rather than a conscious omission. That’s partially why I think commenting here is important. It’s not that making them year-round would break the game, it’s likely that they simply forgot that the old ones were still holiday-locked.

The event is seriously buggy. 1/2 the time it doesnt give you loot for the top of the hour event. Its Ultra laggy on high pop servers. i mean…sigh day one right?

There are blue and brown sets that you can get as random drops from the hourly cooking event.

Thank you! I was wondering how to get those but Wowhead did not have the hourly event info up yet. I did the quests for it, but had no idea WHY I did them. heh. I figured it was an event but did not see details on when or how to do it. Wowhead has it now. Woot!
I need all the kilts! I also might need to actually make and level a male char…
EDIT - and then I remembered gender change is at the barber shop and FREE. Well then. An alt might be in for a surprise.
