I dont see it as disrespectful to Classic because its a seasonal server. If you have played Everquest, they do these kinds of things over there too. New modes of play that change the basic game. It works and new servers are always popular.

Theres no way to please everyone. Even if they implemented the exact Classic+ you want, other players would be disasatisfied.
I think a big reason why Fresh isnt coming out, is because Era is still doing really well. People are still leveling, still raiding, still PvPâing. A Fresh would destroy Era servers.
Bruh, I play Era, and HC, and WotLK. Itâs ok to like different flavours of icecream, the existence of SoD is not a threat to you.
itâs just so obvious that SoD will be full of bugs, exploits, extreme imbalance, and ironically homogeneity as everyone equips only the BiS runes the forums will be flooded with complaints, and so will reddit and all your streamer chats. And I will be here to say, told ya so

Congrats, you just outed yourself. You didnât play the Classic release if you think bugs, exploits, and extreme imbalance wasnât there at launch. The Era servers are from years of bug fixes and rebalances.

You clearly donât know about the GY exploit for PvP ranks, or the fly hack exploit in ZG, or the bugged zombies in ZF, or the Mage farming they nerfed, or the warrior imbalance that is very much still there.

Bugs and exploits: You havnet seen the bots flying in the air, walking through walls to enter Mara or inside ZG? You havent seen the positional exploits in ZF?
Extreme imbalance? 25 warriors in a 40 man raid? Possible 1 druid? Pladins with two worthless specs? Warlocks dominating 1v1? Rogues ganking people with 10% health?
Câmon. Ive played more WoW than I care to admit. I was in the beta test for Vanilla WoW. I love Classic WoW. Iâm ok with SoD because its a seasonal server. The Classic WoW team is small and on tiny budget. Were lucky to get this at all!
