Seriously why doesn’t Sarge fly? He already has a cute little animation where he floats up into the sky, just give him his magical card aura and let him fly.
Little things like this go a long way in making the game experience more enjoyable, I was so disappointed when I got Sarge out to a flying zone and he just hopped around a bit instead of taking off like the adorable majestic creature I know he can be.
Free mounts don’t get to fly.

My assumption is because the exact same mouse is in the store and they won’t compete with a free mount. Because jerks.

It’s a reskin of a store mount that still sells for the price of nearly two month’s subscription.
Like the green Ardenweald clone of the Vulpine Familiar, it isn’t gonna be flying any time soon.
Think of the /mountspecial as the mouse having a dream to fly, but trying and not being able to. In other words, the mouse represents the feelings of all the players in this game that love flying, from WoD onwards.

Not sure about Sarge but I’m wondering why the Fallen Charger from Korthia doesn’t fly .
In Korthia it make sense that it doesn’t fly but outside of the Maw and Oribos it should . Now if they are going to use the excuse because it is a horse or because it is dead and a ghost as the reason it doesn’t fly then how come my Ironbound Wraithcharger can

Oh I love my new mouse mount too, gnomes look so good on him. If he could fly it would be awesome, but I’m still enjoying him on the ground too.
