Make loot scamming a bannable offense

And look where that got you?

spell batching removal

Blizzard does not interfere in loot contention issues , especially if the conversation happened outside their platform .

They solved all this BS with personal loot in retail , so change your guild in Classic if you do not like their rules.

They fixed the issue. Its called Retail WoW where master loot doesnt exist.

You play classic WoW and have to deal with all of its garbage because “no changes”

They should just make gold buying a bannable offense. Problem solved.

And thank god for that. Spell Batching was abysmal. Even most private servers didn’t use it.

True

It was horrid. So i guess some changes should be made. Loot scamming should be taken care of with bans just like ninjas are taken care of by gms.

No that wont stop the loot scamming.
People farm gold through naxx without gold buying.

You bid on something, you know the price you paid for it and you get the item - it is really debatable anyone is getting scammed.

In addition, how are they going to determine who bids on something and doesn’t want it?

It’s a you problem if you joined a pug running that loot system.

off people who buy gold. Yea, just ban gold buyers.

And most farm gold to buy naxx items. I know loot scammers that dont buy gold

Not always the case. Most people farm from dire maul and pay naxx trash farmers for the epic trash drops so those arent gold sellers. They are just selling items in the game and people pay gold.

that’s not surprising given how incredibly loose your definition of a “loot scammer” is

It’s not the price thats the scam. I just told you.
It’s the bidding part where they don’t want it and do it to increase the pot.

I just explained it. Through recordings or screenshots.

This is a private matter between groups and guilds. Go away with this.

It’s not a “you” problem. Thats like saying its a you problem if someone ninja.

YES THEY DO.

Loot scamming falls under thesame rules as ninja loot scamming.

If it was a private matter payo shouldnt of been banned but he was.

No it’s not. The person bidding up is still within the rules of the system. There’s no requirement to actually want the item. OP doesn’t like the rules but joined anyway, so it’s on him.

No. bidding means you need to want the item. You can’t bid on a house you don’t want or you go to jail.

Blizzard doesn’t accept screenshots and I seriously doubt they are going to accept recordings either. It has to be on their chat. Plus what the heck do you think will happen if they ban it. Is the behavior going to stop? Or are people just going to stop indicating why they bid.
