You could use a PVP solution and guard the NPC, paint it in hunter flairs and traps. If you have that area covered so that there is no safe path to the NPC then there is no way to execute a sap.
Thatâs if your faction cares about actually getting the buff, because if they do then they can make sure the buff goes out, but if you guys dont really care and just want the game to play for you then good luck because CC is part of the game and it goes both ways.

Except that you have the option right now to protect your NPC and prevent this form happening and you choose to do nothing to protect it. You are asking for exceptions to be made in very specific ways here also like allow for mind control but not other forms of CC?
Are you actually serious? Like how hard is it to organize protecting the NPC? Itâs not, you just need to actually put forth effort as a faction rather than let a single player make you all into clowns.
So, when you run to org and die to guards and sit dead until the RP happens, then Blind/Poly the NPC and prevent the buff? Tell me oh great one, how do you counter that?

You cannot blind an NPC when you are frozen. Have your factions hunters do their job and carpet the area in traps and flairs.
Flairs 100% prevents stealth and in turn sap, and traps are unapproachable without stealth, the trigger radius outside of stealth is too great to get close enough to do anything.
The act of spawning in on a trap means you get trapped before you can make any action, but you need a few decent hunters to do their job.
Are you high? Thatâs not a actual solution, thatâs a scatter brained plan that will never happen
World buffs were never intended to be a reliable way to do raids.

Youâre not going to get legitimate responses from this forum. Youâre dealing with 20-30 year old trolls who are so sad at themselves and their lives they come to the boards to troll. Though yeah if its immune to CC itâs immune to all CC. Probably wonât happen though.
If itâs the alliance on Skeram getting screwed on the ony buff then change it, if itâs horde, good those scum bags donât deserve it.
Just make the buff have a 4-hour (or whatever makes sense) unremovable debuff which prevents the buff from being applied. Then let every turn-in buff people. Done.
The way itâs currently implemented is very silly.
If they got rid of world buffs you would still be able to parse for ranks because everyone would be on the same playing field.
Conclusion: Get rid of world buffs in raids.
I like how you specified allowing them to still be MCâd so you can still get your horde buddies to MC the mob to reset the cooldown so you can do heads faster.
Youâre not okay with someone stopping your buff, but you are okay with having more buffs than intended.
You donât care that theyâre sapping the mob, you just care about getting your buff for your parse.
