I’ve seen one pet (and a duplicate) since delves became available. T8, T11, doesn’t matter. Ya gotta make these things cageable again, or increase the drop rate.

I’m just getting worthless duplicate decor drops. I’ve finished the delve journey, I’m completing delves on 2 characters, with no end in sight. This is not fun

I think I’m just done collecting now.
I’ve been of those “take my money” idiots. Someone who’ll do things he doesn’t particularly like to try to collect something. But as time goes on, FOMO, missed events, old Blizzcons, overpriced buy-ins from store items, etc. just drains the fun away.
All I want from WoW is the ability to collect everything from any particular category, but it’s impossible and will never happen. Being able to 100% a collection is a fun goal that just isn’t a thing in this game.

I think this was mentioned in another post, but I wanted to add my experience. I got Valeera to 50 and completed the Delver’s Journey before I got any pets. However, after completing the journey, in about 4 delves I have received 2 pets. It seems completing the Delver’s Journey increases the drop rate of the pets. Maybe try that?

I read the same post regarding delve journey progress and the pet drop frequency, and that got my hope up. Alas, I have not seen a single pet drop with a maxed journey and maxed Valeera.
But, as a collector, I will keep trying, just through feelings of frustration.

Same here. Maxed out Delves, been doing consistently at highest levels for weeks. No a single pet drop. Not one. Between the hyper-monetization of pets, the lack of content for them, and the number of low drop rates/barriers to getting in-game ones despite reasonable effort….I’m tired. I used to avidly collect to get to 100% completion, but now I just sorta have resigned to not having many of them.

Welp, since I made the OP, I’ve looted all the current season delve pets. I got them, of course, when I stopped “trying” (that is, spamming delves).
Original request stands. Why it was changed from TWW is yet another in the long log book of “inexplicable, player-antagonistic Blizzard decisions”.

Can anyone confirm if you can loot pets from a tier 1 green heavy trunk? I just really want the Lost Star and I’ve been trying… and trying… and trying to no avail. Tier 11 bountifuls, tier 11 re-runs, tier 8 bountifuls on alts… I just want to get the Lost Star as fast as possible.
btw I haven’t gotten any delve pets yet. Valeera’s almost level 60 and I’ve long since completed the delver’s journey.

I can’t personally confirm anything about that companion, but WowHead reports that it drops from Bountiful Heavy Trunks and Nemesis Strongboxes at a depressingly low drop rate.

Speaking of depressingly low drop rates, I do around 30 delves (give or take) a week and have been playing since launch and still don’t have the Spormilian pet. Wowhead lists the drop rate as .18 and .2. I keep getting duplicates of the others that can’t be learned and i have to sell them to a vendor. I’ve gotten a handful of lost stars, so they do exist. I still haven’t seen a single recipe either, but at least I can buy some of those for 30-40k gold. Thankfully, I’m doing delves for other reasons, so it’s not a complete wash.

I wish they would make them cageable. I have gotten 0 pets from delves and have done at least 100+ delves since launch. You’d think at least 1 would of dropped by now.. Yet my bf has gotten several of each. Very frustrating as a pet collector when they make pets not tradeable, especially when previous xpac delves were tradeable. I’m worried I won’t get Ominous Domanus before the season is over as I’m not sure if the delve boss will even be available anymore..
Please blizzard, allow us to trade these pets

Ok, so if they ever do this again, there need to be specific pets that drop from specific delves. Getting duplicates of pets that have already dropped when you are still missing some is maddening. If we could at least target specific delves to run then that would give this crappy grind more certainty.

Disgusting drop rate, non cageable, chance to get duplicates, they literally could not have made this any worse for collectors.

It drops from the individual instance of nullaeus as well, which will continue to be killable. If anything thats the ideal way of farming it, ? is completable by fresh 90s with very little resistance. If you don’t consider ?? a pushover already it definitely will be with another tier of gear.

Down to the last delve pet, Spormillian. I have 16 Fungarian Banners (why?!) a duplicate Sporbie, but no Spormillian. Hopefully the pain will be over before the end of the season.
Mysteriously, it feels that 8s and 11s are harder hitting than they were a month ago, almost as if there has been a stealth buff to mob health and dps towards the end of this season..
