Why hasnt mage food been updated to match that of Wax Fondue yet? We need to make mage food worthy again. Its absolutely worthless at the moment. Why would anyone use it instead of wax fondue? So ive submitted a feedback request to blizzard that mage food should be equal to wax fondue as a standard, moving forward. Im a bloody mage and some wax food is better than what i can conjure? Thats insane, or am i missing the point?
I dont ever get on the forums but i posted with an old characrer lol. Anyways this is my mage and i need our mage food to be better. Its just sad that we, as the most powerful mages in the world, slaughtering all that threaten our existence, cant make better food then some kolbold looking rat people in a cave. Cmon blizzard make our food great again!
At the very least can it not be cinnamon buns for another expansion?
At the very most it should buff my mass barrier for anyone who tasted my cooking. I put effort in to these buns ya’ll

Mage food was made completely useless with recuperate or whatever it’s called. Not sure why it’s even still a spell.
Recup only gives health, doesnt it? We need mage food to be equal to wax fondue. That way i can start selling it instead of us having a mass market on thr Auction House. Just saying.
Your post is literally the first time I’ve ever heard of this wax fondue (which sounds absolutely disgusting, btw) so I don’t know if there really is such a market for it, lol. But I agree that mage food needs to be updated, perhaps it wouldn’t be a bad idea if it also gave a food buff albeit not as strong as the best feast.
Funny enough, i made this post while at work. I came home and reviewed both of them again. Wax Fondue at one point read that it increases the amount of mana it gives back faster as the time goes on up to 20 secs, which made it really good and better than mage food.
After reviewing both in game tonight i have discovered that it no longer reads that way and it only provides 4.5 million health and 3.7 million mana over 20 secs. It shows nothing along the lines of increasing the speed at which you regain mana the longer you eat.
This is wild, i swear to god i read it and it had that special feature. It no longer does, i even checked wowhead. It all reads as ive typed above. Which in turn makes mage food better since mage food provides 100% in 20 sec. So this post is worthless
