I mean, this one is actually MORE humorous than where we’d actually put them, trying to put half a planet’s worth of Pandas on a tiny island turtle is way more amusing than confining them to Pandaria itself where they would actually be stuck according to Liu Lang’s tale.

Bumping this because I’m starting to see a ton more Dractyhr in the old zones now. Shadowlands, Cata Azeroth, BfA zones, etc. It just doesn’t make sense. I get that there are RP servers, but this is just getting ridiculous. Can we at least force them into visage mode if they’re not on Dragon Isles (or in capital cities)? That can at least potentially be explained away by, say, implying that they’re agents of the Bronze Dragonflight spying on the past or something.
This sounds like a “you” problem you are just going to have to deal with.
There are already bunches of random time twisting nonsense in the game that we all have to accept; it is what it is.
Imagine playing through Legion as a Lightforged. You get to argus and discover the Lightforged.

I don’t understand why they shouldn’t be allowed to leave and have to stay as Raszageth wipes them out once and for all?
Blizz already gotcha covered pal. We all live and play in the current expansion. The only way any class gets to go back is by using the bronze dragonflights time travel to let us experience what happened without being able to change anything. So, in essence, Dracthyr already don’t leave the Dragon Isles expansion. At least someone gets their requests.

Agreed. Leave the stupid birds in their own ward like a bunch of cows with hoof and mouth disease.
So you want every race/class to go back where they came from, and stay there, because you’re terrified of outsiders. Then stay in Goldshire with your Human Warrior and level up that classic cooking all day.

People really ran with the straw man argument in this thread. Never did I say to impose racial quarantines lol. My point was to come up with some solution for displaying characters that have no business being somewhere they shouldn’t be based on the current timeline. How about making them all visage forms of some kind to denote that they’re time travelers?
OK, why does it matter then.
The main lore restrictions for location that we need to maintain is making sure them filthy void elves stay out of Silvermoon!
Make it so OP can’t log into the game

If dracthyr couldn’t leave the dragon isles due to lore we wouldn’t have dracthyr in the first place. They would’ve died to the storm drakes invasion. We can go to the old world because of lore.

Pandaren weren’t around for Cataclysm, Wrath, or Burning Crusade.
Worgen weren’t a thing before Cataclysm.
Should lock them out, too, with that logic.
Where do you think DKs came from? We ere there in Old Content we were just other classes
