My guild has monthly events like groups doing the trial of style together or random game nights where we all play the same game.
They also have meetups.
Example one of the healers had a birthday party in May and a bunch of people from the guild flew in for the weekend.
The maximum ilvl.
I no play atm, so I dont know what is maximum, but I am 100% sure casuals are gatekept from it.

Two things will happen:
Itās fine as it is currently.
Max ilvl is 684, max ilvl crafted items which are in some cases bis are 681.
Nobody is gatekept from ilvl because nobody is denied access to the content that awards it.
Feels like people just want ilvl to be utterly detached from difficulty. If itās actually as hard as it is in other content people complain.
And now delves do award gilded crests, people complain they donāt get enough of them, or donāt earn them fast enough.
Itās just a race to the bottom, with the bar slipping lower and lower each time blizzard makes a mistake. Because god forbid the uproar if they ever attempt to raise it again.
You arenāt doing the content that requires you to need such gear. Tough. If you want the tmog going to have to wait when its solo content.

What the heck does a solo player need Mythic gear for? Why? So you can kill a mob a split second faster? Like I said Iām a solo player myself and all my characters are 650-658 item level. There is literally no need to have better gear than that if you are a solo player. Iām soloing t11s pretty ez.

Technically nobody needs mythic track gear. The mythic raid gets cleared every tier in the first week or 2 by people in mostly heroic gear.
Ok so if i take your logic that I donāt need mythic gear for mythic raiding, then OP doesnāt need c mythic gear either.
