It’s a mix of all WoW communities.
Sweat and nerd rage is what they all have in common, it was bound to happen.
That and exploitative behavior.
Why do you want things to be op? Clearly this was a poorly thought out idea. No one wants every class to be OP or we wouldn’t have people screeching for nerfs for priests and hunters 24/7. What everyone wants is balance and for all or most specs to be viable. That means removing weaknesses of poor performing specs.
SoD is the Dawntrail waiting room.

If the SoD community is nothing but sweaty toxic nerds, and SoD is garbage, and the devs lied, etc. etc. just go do something you enjoy. Don’t hang around on the forums like a crazy ex girlfriend good lord lol

It’s just crazy - it’s a random game mode that only goes to level 25 and you see things like 10-man premades for WSG, people complaining about being “forced into a build” (lol for what?), and getting straight furious at blizz for any balance issues. Like chill the heck out already, this is worse than RBG push groups.

I’m only going to explain this one time, so listen. You are a tourist because you are visiting a long term, pre-established community. We have ways we do things, cultures and customs. You show up for 1-2 months at a time, you do not make a home for yourself and you do not contribute to server health.
Instead you demand things be changed to be like how it was “back home”. Regardless of you getting these changes, you will leave anyway. The only thing you can contribute is a little gold flow for the economy but since tourists have realized that’s the core of why GDKP exists, to profit off these locusts that come for a month every new phase, they have started seething out of control and hate those too.
I know this is hard to grasp, but if you were capable of social interaction beyond seethe posting online, you wouldn’t be seethe posting online to begin with. You would have joined a guild and had a great phase 1.
If someone came to visit France and demanded they rip up the effiel tower, demanding they stop speaking french and starting pooping in the street, the locals might be upset then too.
Go home.

So, after not reading the journal log, what I’m gathering is OP wants to play the FOTM class and now it’s been nerfed they’re adding to the spam and advertising for private servers.

I am, got only one day left, stopped playing an using the last day I’ve got to explain my grievances and why I’m leaving.
I’ve got a friend who came with me into SoD that feels the same, wanted to see if others also felt similar.
Blizzard said this themselves, it was their idea in the first place.

Because it’s group content. If you want a spot, unless you are a whale in a GDKP, most people will take the person who is doing 20-30% more damage because of their spec.
When it’s 5-10%? No one cares enough to make a difference.
SoD, pre-established? Hahahaha
The Classic Andies already think they own the place.
Imagine promoting RMT through GDKP and pretending you’re a net positive for the server, lmao
SoD is dying faster because of you, don’t get it twisted.
The more players get gold from GDKP, the less they will farm, eventually no one will and that’s when it starts to stagnate and die.
History will repeat like on Hardcore.
Things will get really expensive because everyone is loaded and no one wants to spend the time anymore to physically go out and gather. Leave it to the bots.

And even after the nerfs, Priests are still the best healers in both PVE and PVP and Hunters pets still do over 40% of their DPS in PVE and like 90% in PVP. LOL!

There is like OP that the kinda OP everyone is then there is OP like hunter pets being able to solo players and priest full healing themselves with one penance.

No it wasn’t. Everything is incredibly strong already and we are level 25.
Can you imagine what these classes are going to feel like at 60 with just these tools?
Give it time, let the game come out, play it a bit then give your opinion

I’m not gonna let Blizzard string me along after Phase 2 was pushed back and my fun is already dampened out.
It’s Classic with barely anything different but a few hard-to-get spells.
I’m just plain bored, not enough has been changed to warrant me to continue playing.
I guess SoD folks really wanted another fresh Classic so power to them, I was hoping for an actual Classic+ or something different.
