buff boomkins.
I just started playing this with a couple friends. Are there any streamers you could recommend I could watch for tips?
Just coordinate defensive rotation with the dh well, if he wastes blur like 9/10 dhs he might be in some trouble if you get caught in a longer change w/o bubble or trinket. The boomy just wonāt die if heās sticking vers (he should be i think), and he can peel very well for you (hpal Iām assuming based on your post history), to help alleviate some of the enemy goes. Plus balance does unreal spread and its even more nuts if they have gushings.
We are pretty low rated right since we just started and only about 10-12 games in but 90% of the time they went boomy. Only the double casters would go dh. Will this be the norm when we get out of the yolo bracket? Am I ever the kill target? I can run my full ineff pve gear and drop the vers amps.
Our general strat is to just let the dh tunnel, boomy rotates clones, I steed in to hoj/repent off of root beam and run back to pillar.
I think that will swap once you get out of the lower mmr brackets. Any dh boomies Iāve faced recently, the boomy just doesnāt die, and if you go dh and donāt have a purge for thorns + something to lock not only you (hpal), and boomy down, the boomy can just peel so well for dh.

Are you sure? I think it was really good before everyone got their bis corruptions, but I feel like itās pretty weak into rogue mage if they go the ele. Although I havenāt tried it with gushing on boomy. Boomy just lacks peel for gos without a dedicated interrupt I feel like.
Tanky for sure; I think the strength is more than the instant cast burst of starsurges more than the consistent damage tho.
Ya tho, Boomy feels pretty good atm. I think boomy/DH/Rsham is good into just about everything except mage/lock and can 100% beat RMP, shadowplay and jungle if played well, which is 99% of the ladder. I think boomyās only āweaknessā is resto druid, but that class goes oom so fast atm itās still a favorable MU.
IDK about boomy being R1 good atm though with rogue/mage being SO strong and destro locks being destro locks. Iām sure prev will get it and maybe shouri/salomon but idk about anyone else.

obviously he needs boomie to be even stronger to be autopiloted to higher heights. at least he didnāt have to purchase his glad this season! proud of u dookiewitz

Incarn with Boomy + vision proc incarn still does some nasty dps. Been blown up in a few seconds in 3s, not sure what corruptions he was using but dunked me with 2x starsurges.
You couldnt get r1 in a real season so Tank trinkets had to autopilot you thats why every dh dk got r1 bfa ses 2.
ya thatās what Iām saying. With insignia + incarn I can crit starsurges on a rogue for like 100k. so Usually around when 2nd incarn comes up I can root beam healer into surge incarn surge X2 for 3 instant casts in 4 globals for 2-300k burst. Itās nutty.
I play reap into lock wizard comps too for more burst.
Thatās the main reason I donāt think boomy needs buffs tbh. Ignoring the fact youāre basically unkillable in bear with big verse and a gory regen trait (and can wall during stuns), thereās VERY little counterplay to root beam and all your burst is instant cast and on a separate school from your other spells. Itās not as oppressive as lock in the current meta/state of the game, but if boomy was stronger itād be the next destro.
A boomy autoloses to spite unless you q with a ww or hunter or hpal or spriest. Or you can take off vers corruptions but u will die with out it.
Okay, by that same logic so does warlock so buff warlocks?
Spite is dumb and a separate issue, but either way, I donāt think Iāve lost to a ww/dk or RMP spite to me dying in the last 100 games.
Starsurge needs atleast a 10% buff how much does it do 70k noncrits idk a cbolt does 130k non crits in a 0.1sec casttime so its basically instant.
templarās verdict need a 35% of maximum health in damage buff.

I mean, do you remember S1? I never did any of the lively spirit bs abuse, but I remember watching samiyam 2shot pikaboo at the blizzcon finals and that makes me think starsurge is okay. If you were to buff anything, Iād say buff wrath/lunar strike damage because you can pool big burst every 15s or so.
In general I think the consensus is that every class should be ābuffedā to have kits like rogue/destro lock more like MOP under the guise that if everything is broken then nothing is, but if blizzard isnāt going to do that I honestly think classes like boomkin/ele/survival hunter/feral are staples of what classes SHOULD be like.
those classes arenāt bad at their base (sorry aff lock/enh shaman/ret) and can do some nutty stuff atm. Itās just that RMx and Destro are beyond broken compared to everything else.

because I had no teamates so I couldnt push for r1. I got to like 2850 first 2months of bfa ses 1 I was like #3 boomy world then I had no more teamates to q with.
Didnāt u play with onethree, a cata R1/legion glad shaman and stab, who went on to get R1 and almost did s2? whoās the weakest link? I just canāt imagine why they would ditch you
