Make BFA raids soloable

I came in at the tail end of Shadowlands, never even set foot in LFR, barely did dungeons. Within the last 3 weeks (including this one), I’ve gone through Mythic Nathria 8 times between 3 toons, all I’m missing from the Mythic leather set is the shoulders. Lack of legacy tuning will not stop me, only slow me down.

Sure, until you realise that if you have just one friend, BFA raids become a lot more doable.

Nah, the real reason is that Blizz just doesn’t really care about it. It’s not high priority, not even close. It’ll get done eventually but I wouldn’t hold your breath.

Damage scaling isn’t the issue. The issue is certain boss mechanics. For example, Dazar’alor has the gold golem, which resets as soon as one of the side golems leaves its room, which means you need 2 people for that. Then there’s the two captains on different boats. Need 2 people for that, too.

Ive noticed my destruction locks with voidwalker can solo thru a lot of content some of my other classes cant do…or do so easily.
I should try Blood too.

Lol…actually just commenting above about how my lock seems to be nigh on indestructible soloing harder stuff. Just notice youre warlock.
Yeah…if I need it done lock is usually going to be my choice of classes.

I never understood why they made Ion the lead director of WoW. He was good in his old position as raid designer. I mean, iirc, Throne of Thunder was his work, and that was a really good raid. But being able to design a good raid doesn’t mean you can do everything else, and oh so many systems implemented since have been colossal flops. Even the Legion systems, which were largely praised after their initial poor launch issues were fixed (alt unfriendly, offspec unfriendly, mass ap grinds, rng legendary drops soft capped at 2 drops when they were so blatantly unbalanced, etc) were only just the beginning of a major problem that lasted all through till Dragonflight.

The only reason why he still has the job imo is because he’s a lawyer and he is oh so good at lawyer speak, telling half-truths and navigating questions etc. And Activision loves that quality.

Where we live right now, the manager wanted the parking lot seal coated last year for winter.
On a Wednesday evening she had someone hang a notice outside everyones door…didnt even freakin knock to let us know something was out there. (this matters because we have some handicapped tenants who sometimes dont come out their door for a week or more).

So the notice says on friday at 7am the ENTIRE parking lot must be cleared for 24 hours for the seal coating.
She gave less than 48 hours notice telling everyone to ‘park somewhere else’…knowing we have a HUGE elderly and handicapped population on this property (one reason I love it here…sooo quiet and polite).

This freak of nature expected handicapped and elderly people to park down the road and walk back to their apartments…and by park down the road, I mean she literally said to park on private lots where we have no permission to park, lmao.
And this insane nut actually believed that was ok…to park without permission and to have some 80-90 year old disabled tenant who has a frikkin handicap spot because they literally cant walk very far…to trek back on foot…just so SHE didnt have to pay extra for the lot to be done over two days instead of one, so they could just move cars around to one side of the lot, then to the other.

How this woman has kept her job amazes me.
Personally Id have fired her on the spot.
I dont even think its legal to give that short of notice to people with handicap spots and tell them to flake off and walk, lol.

I dont honestly get it.
A couple time over the years where I was having serious personal issues at home my boss pretty much told me…get it figured out or find another job.

How this game has lost so many subs under someones watch and nothing has changed is mind blowing.

And G’Hunn. If you somehow lasted more than a few seconds against him, you still need to run and deal with stuff on both sides of the room. Hard to solo that mechanics.

And N’Zoth… whew it was hard for a full raid to handle that one. I can’t imagine anyone soloing that one without any change to mechanics to make it solo-friendly.

we were soloing legion in SL, but somehow bfa is LOL
