Maintenance today 2/26/25

Technically yes it would be scheduled. Now if you company has a policy stating a time requirement things would be different.

LOL as usual, they can’t put a patch out without having the entire week filled with ‘scheduled maintenance’ /eyeroll /golfclap . You’d think that after 20 years and using PTR realms to fix issues would help, but nope. /shrug

Yeah… It’s not like they had hours yesterday to implement and fix any issues. Oh yah… and PTR… I got on in my limited time during the day today to find out there was MORE downtime! Insanity. Pure insanity. With all the maintenance they should really start making this game totally free to play. I’m sure tomorrow will be no different.

I don’t recall having “lag” issues in WotLK  That was the smoothest launch I’ve ever experienced by far. Too bad most of those people don’t work at Blizzard anymore. I get it… though. This is just something we’re stuck with until some drastic changes are made to the servers.

People need to understand that rolling out updates of the magnitude they are doing every month or two now requires a great deal of things to go right. There are unexpected situations that arise which require work to resolve at the network, server, and client level. If folks would look on the bright side, there has never been a time in WoW where there was such variety on a day to day basis. Holidays, new content releases, it just goes on and on. I know we all budget our time around WoW, but hey, Cataclysm is up, I think

Then you came very late to the oarty wrath had horrible lag. But nice try

Game seems to be up for me, I’m on Stormrage alliance.

Not exactly true, but I get your point. WotLK had by far the most dungeons, largest raids, massive map, endless quests. Yah, they didn’t have world quests, but they did have dailies. They still managed to launch it rather seamlessly with minimal downtime. Nah. Wrath didn’t have severe server lag on launch day. Maybe a bit of it in Raid and a few spots in dungeons, but I was there and I have to say it was smooth.

Hopefully they fixed Brann. He has become a companion pet whilst inside a delve.

This week, there should be exactly as much maintenance as is necessary. I hope all the new patch bugs get dealt with, as the world-threatening Nerubians under Queen Ansurek did last season! :dracthyr_nod:

Is anyone actually upset about maintenance? There’s basically nothing to do anyhow.

We can all complain about how they lied in regards to bronze celebration tokens being converted to time warped badges https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/20th-anniversary-event-ending-soon/555833/73

This is why I am not logging in until this evening.

I’ll wait for the rest of you to recognize the bugs for Blizz.

That and my vertigo is off the hook, right now.

If the lag is as bad as advertised I’ll just wait until tomorrow or the weekend to checkout out the new area.

The way people are bashing it already kind of made me think I’m not missing too much now anyway.

because blizzard decided to time gate it

How much is too much is the question? ^_~

I thought you meant you were not able to get the first part done due to lag…but I see what you are saying now…thanks

or repairs tomorrow.
