Live means that the servers will be working. I am guessing 3 days of intermittent disconnects, multiple fried video cards, memory leaks, and many mounts standing on npcs.

I was playing at 6:45 AM PST this morning.
Prime Time doesn’t start for another 5 hours.
Historically, either they actually get it up at like 3:30 or its extended again, no in between.
My current bet is on ‘even if its up at 4, the game won’t be playable until tomorrow’.

you pay 50 cents a day, 1 more hour would be TWO CENTS. Suck it up, would cost them more than that to send it.
But this isn’t an expansion launch - it’s just a patch. And really, there’s nothing anyone can do except wait for Blizzard to finish what they intend to, but from a customer support perspective, it is a little sad that this maintenance model continues to be their standard.
And don’t forget we usually see additional maintenance periods the first few days following even patches now. Another thing we’ve come to expect. So while a lot of people say “it’s ok, we’ll hold on to ensure Bliz gets the bugs out before launch” it’s just not the reality because we’ll most likely see additional maintenance afterwards.

Isn’t it 4 hours difference now (since last Sunday) from east to west? So it should be 8PM EST?
