they actually created TPS reports, installed “matrix management” giving everyone 8 managers… and brought in “the donnas” 2 ladies named donna who are efficiency experts to critique things.

If you only used remotely any brainpower you would understand how tech works especially today’s tech let alone running an MMO or patching a game. Things can and will go wrong.

Expansion content is included in the pre-patch, so the big maintenance for it is already complete by the time the expansion actually rolls around. For the past several expansions, it’s basically just been a flip of a switch to activate the new content when it goes live.
