They do have a point though 10 months for a 4 hour patch last week that was completed in a very short 1-2 hours. and then another 4 hour maintenance this week that has since been increased again and will once again prob only be 1-2 hours of gameplay (or less). 8 hours so far. Patch again next week, if that one is again 4 hours then we are already at 12 hours of unplayable time in the first 3 weeks of the first content in 10 months. On top of that they didnt even put those 10 months to much use as they have more reskins of gear in this one patch than the entire last xpac. Dont defend their actions, if it is broken I understand they simply can not turn the boxes back on, and sometimes things happen. But Blizz should also understand that if they service they provide is not availible then they shouldnt be getting paid for it. 9 hours so far already unplayable, they should extend everyones sub times for that lost time.

I am not an employee, just not shocked by extended maintenance when they are releasing a raid. It’s nothing new.
I have to give them credit, the last few expansion launches have been smooth, patches happen.
You do get that they cover this in the ToS right? I just don’t get the outrage, sorry. If they put it up early and keep bringing it down it’s no better. In the past when we were down for days, they made up for it, but 3 hrs more is nothing.
