I think the DNS flush was just a coincidence. Relogged for addons and now the same issue. Even after another flush.

I updated my drivers and the update started to run when I opened the client

Still can’t swap realms, getting the same error and disconnect.

None of these troubleshoots have helped. :cry:

Husband next to me has no problems connecting, I can’t get in. Tried releasing & renewing IP, flushing DNS, reboot, IPv6, etc. No luck.

EDIT: I lied, IPv6 and quitting and restarting did finally let me in, after doing all the previous.

+1 to the list. Same error as the rest :confused:

Hayo so here’s a quick fix!!!
Go to your task manager and close all Battle net and wow instances.
This worked for me so I hope it helps other.

None of the DNS flushes, network settings or folder deletions solve this. Not client side. Just a craps shoot. I finally got in after 45 min.

Same issue here. I haven’t played WoW in a couple years and I forgot “patch day” was still a thing :joy:

None of this worked for me.

I too was thinking this and was reluctant to remove the addon folder. I removed it, and I’m now logged in.
